It amazes me that even more than 25 years after the infamous Y2K scare-hype, there are still vital infrastructure [and even government] systems that REFUSE to use the full eight digits for dates! And it seems that the age fields do need to be upgraded to THREE digits for those admittedly rare edge cases.
