When you combine glitter and balayage you get 2018's newest hair trend: glitterage. Hairstylist Danielle Wade said the glitterage look came from just playing around in the salon. The stand-out look is perfect for parties, but is only temporary.

KAT Sister a lot of glitter is used for crafts and nail polish etc and that won’t get in our waters, glitter in cosmetics do, also there is biodegradable glitter

And scientists have also said that the ban of glitter wouldn't do anything really. There's much bigger plastic pollutants that are causing trouble. Even if we do ban plastic glitters it won't make even a tiny dent in the problem with plastic waste.

Biodegradable was the word I was hoping to see. I was getting angrier as the video went on because I wasn't sure if the glitter was biodegradable and now that I know that it is, I can accept that I think it looks cool.

You can do this at home for festivals/creative shoots but not everyday look. The glitter will get everywhere on your clothes and pillow after the gel flakes off.
