Congratulations, Si!. I hope you do well at Worlds, but as someone who is nearly 60 and still pinning on numbers, I've learned not to underestimate the age groupers. The only thing harder to race against than a young guy with good legs and lungs like a horse is an old guy with something to prove.

So well done, not just qualifying, but also filming while doing so is just monumental. Hats off to Si.

At the end of the video I could tell how emotional you really were. This is exactly what endurance sport is about. Getting the most out of your self no matter what life throws at you. Great job Simon!

That look he gave the medal was like me a couple of weeks back, I'm just a Avg cyclist at best 43yrs old but challenged myself to do the velo29 Tour of the peaks here in the UK I'm not a good climber so entered a climbing sportive has you do, hardest ride I have done, but Simon's look ,I know exactly what it meant to you I felt the same 2 weeks ago
