I always loved 2003 Hulk. I get why the movie didn’t do well, but it’s one my favorite superhero films to date. They haven’t done his power justice since then.

Ok so why did the film not work well, because everything is good in the film, the scenario, the logic, the power of hulk, its appearance, its power, the gamma rays IN BRIEF this film is perfect, so why is this film is criticized so much while the real shit is the one from 2008 and everything that follows. For me the hulk of 2008 is just a sting and you transform and anyone can become a HULK the proof in SHE HULK which is like all the big shit films HULK 2003 THE BEST

Its because Banner was more in charge. Canonically, the more the Hulk persona is in charge, the bigger he is. As Banner gets control, he shrinks. The MCU had Banner getting more and more "control"

One of the coolest things about Hulk in the 1970s is that the madder he gets, the stronger he gets. Countless times he encountered opponents that were as strong or stronger than he was. But inevitably he would reach a rage that tipped the scales in his favor. Unfortunately, I don’t think this phenomenon has really been portrayed in the movies.

Honestly I prefer the 2008 hulk because it strikes a balance between of what hulk is meant to be a force to be reckoned with but also banner in trying to hold on to his humanity while trying to find a way to get rid of the hulk but when the avenger movie came out i was utterly disappointed on how Marvel threw out that balance entirely just so they can make the "always angry" a thing so they can fit the hulk in whatever narrative they like

Technically the Hulk in the TV show was always described as 7 foot. Lou Ferrigno was around 6ft 5 but camera angles etc always made him tower over everyone to appear to be that sort of height. So this does not reflect the characters height as it should..

I honestly think Eric Bana did a phenomenal job. Trying to understand. The psychological damage is insane and coming to terms with the Hulk personality. The first time we see him turn into Hulk is the first time he did. Norton & Ruffalo have already been the Hulk when we see them turn for the first time.

Actually, no. In his bio, Hulk is just around 7ft tall, and weighs 1000 lbs. But comic book artists continually made him look bigger, especially in the 90s (when almost all male characters look like huge steroid taking freak body builders). But look at the Hulk's early appearance in the 60s, 70s, even 80s, he is just around 7ft tall, but with a massive frame. Now, I dunno...they kept on changing his story, the Hulk is hardly recognizable as his original character. At first the Hulk was a tragic character given immense strength due to a gamma bomb explosion...then it was retconned to him unleashing his inner demon due to child trauma...then now he is supposedto be the avatar od the "One Below All" (when originally there was only the One Above All...meaning God in the Marvel Universe and supposed to be the most powerful in all multiverses and realities). Marvel has lost it and has jumped the shark a long time ago (as far back as the early 2000s). Anything current I hardly see as precedent setting because they change things so wildly it's hard to take them seriously now. Anyway, I went a bit off tangent there, but to reiterate, the Hulk is at best 8ft tall, nothing more.

2012 Hulk is the best, because we get to see his fun side for the first time on film. When Cap says, “And Hulk…smash!”, Hulk is like “Yeah!” because this is his first time being recognized as one of the good guys, and the situation is so bad that he can completely let loose on the bad guys. It just goes to show that something that is original can’t be beat suck as the Hulk 2003 version. This version of the hulk embodied the most out of hulk, the only problem I have with this hulk is he doesn’t look as angry as the Incredible Hulk. That hulk is the best looking version of the hulk in terms of his mannerisms and his menacing side with uncontrollable power were as with the 2003 version of hulk had the build but not the face.

2003 doesnt need your approval or not, hes still the strongest and most accurate. His regeneration works within seconds, and he increases in size and strength the angrier he gets. A fight between 2003 Hulk and 2008 Hulk would result in 2003 growing to the size of a skyscaper with the strength of 1000 Hulks

2003 hulk is the best for showing his abilities, the best hulk movie 2008 for showing hulk madness, emotion and fight scene.

2003 hulk is the only one that used the growing as he got angrier aspect which I really liked. 2008 hulk it’s implied that he got stronger to defeat abomination but he didn’t grow or anything.

Same! I loved seeing hulk grow bigger the more mad he got and I wish they kept that for all other hulks
