The point is that if you use less carbon, you get more back than you put in. It gives an incentive to make more carbon efficient choices. We’ve had it in BC for years. Works well. Since 2000, we’ve cut carbon emissions per person from 15 to 11 tons. It was brought in by a right leaning government. I don’t know why this has even become a political issue.

He has NO PLAN to help students, seniors, workers, the most vulnerable, or anyone else own their home. Instead he belittles the starter homes of hard working Canadians as "tiny little shacks."
