What a surprise today, and congrats to Judy Heumann for going out of this world (leaping to the afterlife) a few weeks later in a big way! Well, of course, Hillary Clinton, Judy Heumann and Gloria Steinem with Hillary Clinton at Disability Rights are Human Rights. And fantastic to hear Judy Heumann on current public policies from immigration and voter rights, to Afghanistan, climate change and Bidenś Build Back Better (home and community-based services). Congrats!

I’m sure both ladies are/were amazing, but international feminists no, as outside of the US many have never heard of them.

Gloria Steinem is central to womenś history of the United States. Judith (Judy) Heumann is cofounder of US disability movement, independent living, and World Institute on Disability.
