The problem with the chicken walker is that besides looking stupid it doesn't actually offer anything that the Arwing couldn't already do just by hovering and strafing. It already had the capability to attack like the walker does, without a contrived transformation ability.

Here's the sad truth... Most of us who are watching this "movie" are people who can't afford a wii u... Or just too cheap to actually buy this game... Or just enjoying these guys hard work on this vid.

I may sound old but i feel that all this innovation didn't really add anything new to that awesome game, sure, in this one they have AT-PT's..... i mean Fox Walkers (?) but in the old one we had the freakin Blue Marine. I remember spending hours playing SF 64 and trying to unlock the god forsaken on foot mode and trying all the alternate routes, my favorite level was probably Katina and Area 6, the most annoying was Sector Z for always giving me a broken thumb. Those were some good times, i'll stick to that one any day. Thanks guys!!! :D

Hey. Here's an idea, how about have a Star Fox game that involves the player playing as all the pilots at once and have the player alternate back and forth on who you're controlling instead of Fox trying to save everyone's ass?

I thought those walkers were aparoids at first but they appear to be just more androssian tech. Although the design still bothers me, why introduce and use these crawlers when they were completely void in the 64? A part of me really wants to claim that this could mean Andross has Aparoid tech as well. I'm gunna keep playing with this idea a second: Notice how a Cornerian ex-scientist has biorobotics? He controls his robot self with great dexterity, enough to give Fox a run for his money. Did that come from Corneria? The teleporter we learn was stolen from the Cornerian army. Beltino in Assault says that seventeen years before the Aparoid invasion a single aparoid attacked Corneria and then vanished for years after victory over the fleet....isn't that strange? Aparoids are not dumb bugs, they were planning something...OR...they were interrupted by andross who then made a deal/stole the aparoid to study it's biorobotics. Now we have come to believe with the data given to us from this game: Andross is either not killed and still out there (Though notice the lack of post credits cackling) or the robot andross IS andross. NOT a fake. He UPLOADED his biology to this tech making him an Aparoid without a Queen Hivemind. How build up such an army so fast? the BOSSES could just be devoted worshipers of Andross but the fleet he created in such a little time is insane. He MUST have had a production secret. Aparoids? We know they could heal and replicate indefinitely which is why you needed the DNA bomb Beltino makes for use against the queen. IF Andross has Aparoid tech, what if he used the same self replication the Aparoids had? How much genius does Andross truly use? I just watched the movie: "Arctic Dogs" Which was a fun movie but the main antagonist was basically Andross. "Otto Von Walrus" (yes thats his name) was a crazed scientist/engineer who wanted to speed up global warming to destroy the earth. His MAIN issue was his EGO. He was NOT a brilliant scientist/engineer, he only had the IDEAS. He used the love interest in the movie, who was also an adorable engineering fox lady, to create his evil inventions. It wasn't until she realized SHE was the genius NOT him that things went south for him. Reason I'm bringing this up is...What if Andross isn't as smart as we are lead to believe? Dangerous, yes, but gentius? What if everything he has accomplished was thanks to the Aparoid tech he stole? That would mean the Queen wasn't invading Lylat to rule over it....She wanted revenge against Andross, only to discover he was 'killed' by the StarFox team. Then shifting her vengeance onto the Star Fox Squad. I could keep on typing about this but I gotta go to work, If I see comments who are interested in this theory I will try and respond.

Wait a minute, why is there a Wii U Pro Controller symbol at the place where you fight Leon? I thought this game was just going to have motion controls with the Wii U GamePad. Anyway, this looks just like a re-telling of Starfox 64 with only a few new features that were in the cancelled Starfox 2, with some decent English VAs (unlike the original Nintendo 64 which had Japanese VAs trying to speak English).

What is Nintendo doing? Sitting on so many good IPs and wasting them on gimic consoles. Focus on peer competitive console so third party is available. Then capitalise on your Nintendo gimicks making sure not only most original ips use it. But this time you have allot more ips so people say I want a Nintendo for.
