In this video we review and abuse the Midas Revenge Bar from Fringe Sport AFTER we fix a pretty big issue it had out of the box. I've had this thing and used it for weeks but I wanted to be thorough... so I beat it up some. I'm sorry! But it had to be done to really know if this was worth your money.
The Midas Revenge bar has Titanium Nitride sleeves and fits somewhere between a power bar and general purpose bar. I'll be honest I didn't have high expectations but my findings were a bit unexpected.

That's a Rogue (though I've done the same thing with Titan) 3 bar gun rack cut down to singles.

@@actionjackson9121 if you're handy it's pretty easy to do otherwise people use garage hooks from Home Depot or Amazon.

Loved the intro short film. Can't wait for the full length movie release! Also, the cat tongue rating scale is fantastic. We need to push this for the industry standard.

Haha thanks! Wynie writes most of the intros and actually came up with the rough idea for the cat tongue. I just helped bring them over the top 😇

Agreed with their warranty. I recently had my garage flood. I had my wonderbar and one of my 2 fringe loadable dumbbells stored but one dumbbell handle was on the floor. I was notified by my wife at work and send an email too fringe simply asking the best way to dry it out/de-rust if need be. I got a short reply that said they will connect me with their warranty department. I never heard from them after but didn't care as when I came home it was perfectly fine and functional after a quick dry. 2 days later I received a new replacement for that handle without so much as them asking for a picture of the other one. Truly the best customer service I've ever received.

Nice intro... 2:57 WTF don't want to see that movie ouch... And As Many Reviews as Possible had the same exact problem but glad they acknowledge and are remedying it. So 2 of 3 gym channels I watched a review for had the same issue...

Love that you went above and beyond to figure out the spin issues. Glad it’s fixable. Great review, but not as many innuendos for my preference, or are they only in the onlyfans review. 👍🏽😂🤔

Awesome review as always Gluck. Very thorough and entertaining. I laughed, I cried, I learned…..also, great find on the internal rust. I’ve never seen a review that looked into the issues in a bar like that.

Thank you! I try to make your videos. If I saw them I would feel they were thorough and entertaining and gave me everything I needed to make an educated decision. A few people have pointed out that AMRAP found the same issue, he makes good stuff.

I think the cat tongue eating system is a keeper. Maybe need a few more levels in there for more variation. My cat Ollie is probably somewhere between the Ohio bar and Power Bar if that helps refine the system 😂

Like is the "this will be your first and last bar" all talk or trueish for general purpose benching and occasional deadlifting

@@jhonnykankuro I think you're referring to their site where it says was your first bar ever your last (or something like that), I can see someone using this as their only bar but if you do build enough at home longterm you'll end up with others. Depends on your goals and lifting style but it's a nice bar. For general stuff it's great but I like center knurls for squat and a like more aggressive knruls for DL. I also would like more spin if I was into oly lifts. As a general bar, it's pretty good.

@@jhonnykankuro is an amazing power bar (Ohio) so long as you're not doing stuff where that center knurl will be hitting your chest, that's a lot of fun.

Just bought this bar. Thought the rust problem was fixed. (It’s not!!!!) Do NOT buy this bar. Still a rusted piece of crap that rattles like a spray can.

When did you order it? I can definitely pass this along and see what's going on. I'm not sure what power I really hold but I can at least check in based on a few people I've spoken to in the company.

@@GlucksGym ups delivered it to me on Thursday 12/2/21 I took delivery. Their super helpful; unfortunately I’m going to return it. The tolerances are the main problem. All the noise it makes is too much to deal with. I can fix the rust.

@@GlucksGym yeah my first message was me just blowing off steam so probably should of been nicer. But yeah at first I thought it was just then end caps making noise, which they did. So I took the end caps out and spun it. Still rattled like a spray can. And the sleeves have about 1/4 inch of back and forth play.
