Then I played a 3 minute and 5 minute game and looked better there! lol
Hey everyone! I have a new arrangement with chess.com, and, from now on, I will be making videos there and on Twitch! My new Twitch channel will begin in the next 10-14 days, and I will have a similar format to here, except, I will be live-streaming! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make videos on lichess.org anymore, but, I may come there on occasion and play blitz and bullet! Thanks for your support! It's possible I won't be making daily videos for the next two weeks, due to learning new stuff, but, once I am on Twitch, you can watch/play me live and I will put the streams here on my channel as well! :) --- 2-2-2018

Sucks I missed the 27. Nh4+ with mate next move, would've been pretty. :( Thanks for the game Ben, you were so calm, I was uber-focused. My hand was shaking in the time trouble at the end trying to win. Keep up the good work, I'll try to make it up to Atlanta sometime (I'm in Florida)

When Ben said he was barely loosing on 14:17 the position was +7 according to the more recent stockfish 12. He played as black, against a 2000 lichess with +7 position... seems about right since he is a GM :) he could probably spot the guy a queen

funnily enough, theory usually shows, in that najdorf game against narz, black is 'fine' after castling into the pawn storm, but e5 was the biggest blunder, and there needed to be bigger counterplay

how was it a draw in the first game when you won on time?

When a player has no mating material and the other players time expires, the server makes the game a draw. Even a pawn is considered mating material since it can be promoted to a queen or rook, so if Ben had had a pawn at least he would have won when the opponents time ran out.

I don’t even have to run analysis to find lots of better moves for white in the whole game . A computer would never have left his pieces undeveloped on the q side and would have shredded the king side . Moving the rook off the E file was a blunder for to begin with . And white should have removed the knight from e 5 and placed the bishop there many times
