It looks like chess players can easily choose what to play against 1.e4 Meanwhile, many struggle to pick up his opening vs 1.d4 . In this video I will answer the question why I believe Queens Gambit Accepted is the best choice. If you are interested in very strong and reliable opening for Black vs 1.d4 please head over to my site ask-avrukh.com/Games.aspx and download PGN file. You will get a powerful and incredibly detailed (482 novelties!) opening for Black vs 1.d4 move. It will be Lifetime repertoire that will work for many years. My file is suitable for 1600 level and all the way to GM as I explain in the video.

Thanks for the detailed overview of your QGA file, I am getting this one today. A file having complete repertoire for white with 1. d4 playing all main lines against all standard responses by black would be awesome. I unnderstand that it would be too bulky and demanding but if anyone can do it in best way, its you.

In this file it's a full coverage of 1.d4 2.c4 , maybe at some point I will get 2.c4 deviations as well, although I have already London for Black on my site.

I started playing chess last year i went from zero knowledge to 2000 in less than 9 months but somehow now im stuck between 1900 and 2100 any advice?

First of all congratulations on your impressive progress! To reach 2000 in 1 year, it's very impressive. It's actually very common to get stuck at this level, since this is the level where chess players already work very hard and definitely spent thousand of hours on chess. They do not blunder primitive stuff and do not commit obvious mistakes. I would suggest to get a coach, if you cannot afford try to get at least one evaluation class where coach analyzes your games, indicated problematic areas and comes up with the plan. IN this case you are not going to lose time with self-work.

@@ask-avrukh1922 thanks for replying, the problem is chess isn't that popular in my country ( Morocco) so it's very hard to find a coach , because there's no gm in this country, so I'm trying to teach myself from KZfaq and games reviews and I was wondering if you can suggest any openings to pass this level , because I think that my openings don't match my playing style

@@tiredman261why not to try online? Currently I have only one student in person😉. Any opening which appeals to you should be fine, unless it has reputation of being dubious. At least to start with. When you see GMs play it that means it’s good.

interesting video. I wonder what you have prepared against 3 e3, as I always felt that play becomes rather dull after 3...e5 4 Bxc4 exd4 5 exd4. maybe 4...Nc6!? what do you think about that? It would be a lot easier to purchase your content if there was an alternative to paypal available, especially for someone who is not from the United states. In Europe many transactions are done via bank transfer or credit card payment. thank you, Boris.

Thanks for your comment. I have to emphasizes that 3.e3 will transpose to the line 3.Nf3 since I do not recommend 3...e5, but rather go with 3...Nf6 4.Bc4 e6 followed up by c5. Unfortunately, currently there are issues to add different payment options. As far as I know you can open PayPal account and only use your credit card.

Заказал вашу книгу, ферзевый гамбит, принятый славянка и редкие кривые ходы там, а самого отказанного не было, кое как дошло в защите тарраша вы написали, что через ж2 против д5 . Хаха, каталон классная штука 😊

I am trying to make it shorter, but I always fail :). For those who cannot purchase PGN with my detailed coverage, this video might be a good starting point. They would already know two main lines.
