Players that setup with f4 e4 d4 against the black lion often go for these trade + push plans, but they all lose immediately. So fxe5 dxe5 d5 as in the game LOSES on the spot to Bb4 with sacrifices on e4 as Simon hinted in game actually happening in all lines. Same problems when white plays dxe5 dxe5 f5, Bb4 is a WIN. The key miss in this game is that after Bb4 Qf3 black should play Bxc3! where Qxc3 allows Nxe4 while after bxc3 Nc5 Bd3 there is Nfxe4! Bxe4 Qh4+ and again a central pawn falls leaving black with the material AND the compensation. I've won so many games like this in this line!

i learn a LOT from the way he compares candidate moves and explaining what possiblecounter play he might face..only thing is that he talks about it in a very simple way as if it’s doable for everyone..someone needs to remind him that he’s a world’s top chess player for a reason 😅😅

I'm a rusty NM who would be glad to be a speed run victim, but you don't publish a schedule nor are there notifications for subscribers. How should we know you're planning to speed run?

Hey Simon, just take 15 seconds before your first move of the game and check your opponents account. Is it 2 days old and every game has 97 percent accuracy? abort the game, start a new one. At least for the games you record.
