Remember guys, one of Alex Trebek’s wishes was for everyone to show the same respect to the next host as they did with him for the past 30 years.

Even posthumously, Alex’s kind and warming words are still so true. I know I’ll miss his kindness.

Ken is doing a great job and I appreciate his humility, grace and excellence in keeping Jeopardy going.

Ken is the best person to fill this position. He has the knowledge intelligence and fast thinking and acting and, onto he is so nice and pleasant and always reminds us how much Alex liked him. I could not be able to watch any other person on this stage but Ken. He is lovely as well. wish him the best.

The JEOPARDY! and Game Show world is never the same without Alex, ever. Ken Jennings put that so well, there. I can't wait to see how he fares on "The Chase", and as a guest host of JEOPARDY!, though it will hurt a little- it's not easy at all to imagine the stage, without Alex there at all.

There will never be another Alex Trebek, but I think Ken Jennings will be a great host and will make Alex very proud.

So excited to learn that the three guys will be on The Chase! Have been watching the UK and Australian versions, love that show!

I also loved watching Ken during his first run on the show (and each run after it)-I was in grade school but I always loved Jeopardy and loved cheering him on and seeing how far he could get. It will be fun to see him on the show in a different role, even if only temporary.

I’ve only watched bits and pieces of Ken’s hosting but honestly, I like how unique of a story this is. Ken isn’t an actor or presenter, but the most successful contestant of the show he’d now become hosting

I've always felt Ken Jennings would make a great game show host for a cerebral game. In my fantasy world, I would revive the Barry-Enright quizzer "Tic-Tac-Dough" and make Jennings the host of that show. I'm sure Jennings will do just fine on Jeopardy! and I hope he gets the job permanently.

The KEN-FL 😂🤓🙌🏼 I think Ken is the best choice to permanently host. He is well aware he’s not “replacing” Alex. Alex was from a different generation than Ken and just had that gentleman/scholar, proper, almost debonair way about him. That’s not too often seen in Ken’s generation. Not to say Ken isn’t polite in his own right, but it was an elegance and generousity that Alex possessed that can’t be replicated. In honor of Alex, he’d want us to stay loyal to Jeopardy and continue to enjoy the game. It’s already difficult not to miss someone that was a part of a daily routine for over 30 years. Alex is like extended family to millions. I think we can all agree, we are glad he’s at peace and no longer having to battle and suffer, mostly in silence, behind closed doors. Also, thinking of his beloved family and their broken hearts. Rest easy, good sir.🕊🌹🕯☮️💟

If you want to get a taste of The Chase, full episodes from Australia are all over the place on KZfaq. It can be a bit of an addictive show. Hopefully this becomes a long-running series in America.

When I read the names of the other guest hosts I felt a cold shudder down my spine. I’m willing to give them a chance and watch them ,however when I see what they could possibly bring to the table I seriously have my doubts. I love this show, nobody can replace Alex as he developed his own style and honed it over the years but Ken Jennings has settled in and I feel will only get better when given the opportunity to do so.

I know a lot of people would like/love to see Ken Jennings as the new permanent host of Jeopardy.

When Bob Barker retired, The Price is Right have found Drew Carey to replace the TV legend, and he is so very popular with college kids and old people. When Ken Jennings takes over Jeopardy, He will be very popular.

I loved when Ken said that he loves learning what’s new before his teenagers just to annoy them and how that helps motivate him to keep on top of things 😂 probably because I’m the reverse basically in that I like to eat up random trivia for the sake of random knowledge and if I’m going to annoy anyone with it it’s whoever is around me, no intended audience.

To counter Ken's "Star" comment it is rather easy to find another gameshow host who made a verbal change to the opening and to emphasize that the contestants are the stars. Going from "And Now... Here is the star of The Price is Right" to "And Now... Here's your host... Drew Carey!!!!!!!!!"

I think Ken Jennings will be a great host just like Alex Trebek. He’s won 74 Games over $2,000,000 💵💴💰💷 and he’s also on the Chase, Master Minds, and was once on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Alex Trebek will sadly be missed and that’s a big loss. Let’s see what happens later on.

January 5, 2021 Those are big shoes to fill, Actually We never thought that Alex Trebeck could fill the shoes of the original Host? what was his name? We can see his face, and hear his voice, What was his name? It will take Ken Jennings a while to grow into the position as Moderator, Jeopardy has lots and lots of brilliant contestants, Most of us could never be on Jeopardy, Who has that much stuff, running around in their head? What was Joan of Arch's, greatest mistake of Trust? We don't know? who knows that kinda stuff?

Still struggling with those Tweets. As a Canadian who's been watching Jeopardy since it began in 1985, I am baffled by the one in which he insulted Canadians. Alex was a Canadian. His first couple of weeks were wooden performances, but he is improving. Still, however, doesn't have the 'spark' needed to be the permanent Host.
