I would highly recommend Ken Jennings. I have been a very avid Jeopardy fan even if I lived in the Philippines when it started because I watched it in the Philippines religiously. For me then and when I moved to America in 1985 and of course one of my greatest passion was to be able to get to watch Jeopardy where it is actually from. Actually, Alex Trebek to me was one of those decent and highly knowledgeable good looking host. He was a perfect gentleman on TV and off TV. I still remember when he started as Jeopardy host, he was not married and lived with his mother. He was a good son. I love that because I three sons. I was happy to know that he got married and later had two children and had a happy family. I would record his shows on VHS and later on just write down all the nFinal Jeopardy qu🎉estions with the plan of making my own memorabilia of Jeopardy. So when he passed, I felt I lost someone dear to me. I loved the replays and so happy to still see him on TV…. One of the pleasant scenes I will never forget is when he put his arm around Ken Jennings, like a father telling his son to take care of things when he leaves… his legacy…..Ken Jennings ….who was the longest champion in the history of the show. As a matter of fact, I was in Honolulu the day Ken Jennings lost. I am a mother and an avid follower of Jeopardy….I think we need a man to host it. I have seen a few women hosting Jeopardy for some special occasions but they were nice too. But they are very professional in their movements. And besides, the men are dressed in their formal attire for the show unless they are going to depict a certain era or occasion. The host should always be in formal attire. This is my own observation and judgement of a Jeopardy show. A man should host Jeopardy…..Rest in Peace Alex, you are loved and missed…be with our Lord…. Love and prayers….from an avid Jeopardy fan…..Norma M. Feria😅

Both are good hosts. They are both a few years younger than me, so hopefully they can be around for a long time.

Nope. Mayim should be dropped and Ken should only host. Mayim has a terrible resume and reputation. Also not a great host. Does not honor Alex Trebek like Ken does. Ken is amazing at hosting with lots of professionalism.

@@Bea-a-deer I love how you delusionally ignore without research of the many unqualified things about Mayim. She is not "incredibly intelligent" but the opposite. She spreads misinformation about vaccines and spreads anti vaccine rhetoric as a called "scientist" that has been debunked by scientists and medical doctors. She is an entertainer which is not a good quality as Jeopardy host who should be serious like Alex and Ken was. Also is a busy actress with a comedy show of "Call Me Kat" thus is not fully committed to Jeopardy. Meanwhile Ken is fully committed to Jeopardy as he was previously a consulting producer. She is of too much drama and too much comedy on the show. She cannot even pronunce the names correctly with good accents like Alex Trebek and Ken Jennings does. She also fails to pay good trbute to Alex Trebek without mentioning him while Ken does a lot as a good friend of his. Overall, not a good qualified host and should focus on her actress work while Ken gets sole host job and keeps Jeopardy at stability and not confusion.

They have been hosting for the past year. Wdym. Both imo r not THE host for j, but ken is better suited than mayim. We need someone who can be 1 with the show. To let us know that they r not hosting. But merely weaving the tapestry

They mean the syndicated version, of which Trebek was the original host. Art Fleming hosted the original incarnation but never the syndicated one.

Sony should have thrown the bag at Ken Jennings to be the sole full time host. He is the first person you immediately think of when you say Jeopardy after Trebek himself. I wonder why they decided to do the two host split. To me, it wrecks continuity.

Does it terribly, too much drama and silliness and out of control stuff from her. She should be dropped and Jeopardy should stick to ONE host being Ken.

@@Bea-a-deer Wrecks the continuity in cofusing people in knowing who is hosting when. Nothing is like "Games of Thrones". Makes no sense in having two host. Stay at one. Ken should be it as someone familiar with Keopardy. Mayim too much of an actor that puts show in actual jeopardy. It is NOT a "game show". It is an educational instutution. You understand nothing. Shut up and sit down.

I can understand why Sony would choose a male and female cohosting pair for Jeopardy, since they already have that same arrangement with Pat and Vanna on Wheel of Fortune. And they couldn't have picked two better people for the job than Ken and Mayim. As an aside, whenever I read Mayim Bialik's name I think of Manolo Blahnik, even though I know they're completely different people. :P

Nope. Ken is a great host. Mayim is a terrible host. Mayim has a terrible resume and reputation as a so called "scientist". Also an bsy actress not fully committed to Jepardy like Alex Trebek was and Ken Jennings is. She does not honor Alex Trebek like Ken does. Finally she hosts terribly with a lot of failures and too much drama and comedy without taking seriously. Ken is amazing at hosting with lots of professionalism. Mayim should be dropped while Ken gets sole host job.

The way she pronounced it is also an acceptable form of the word. Many words have different pronunciation depending on region. “Now for the confusing bits: timber is listed as a variant spelling of timbre. And timbre may also be correctly pronounced just like timber as \TIM-ber\.” - Merriam- Webster dictionary. It takes 30 seconds to google it and not be ignorant.

I wish Ken was the singular host. He is far more talented than Mayim and has a legacy with J! and therefore brings a level of continuity. It's truly ridiculous that we are stuck with 2 hosts. That is just the dumbest idea anyone could have thought of.

I feel they r emasculating the male role in hosting by giving more emphasis to the female host. Look at their postures when taking pictures. Mayim basically shoved Ken aside and took the limelight. I know this is a result of Richards scandal before this but I think enough is enough

ken is the true host, the prodigal son, he earned it. I don't know who the lady next to him is, I'm sure she is nice, but she is not the host of jeopardy. Can't blame her for taking the paycheck, I would too, but in her heart she probably knows Ken is the true heir and rightful host and she was picked for likely PR reasons.
