The husband is very supportive. It is great to have a husband who is supportive. This Mom is very inspirational. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you want to go back to college to get a degree in teaching, doctor or whatever it is, go for it. I had a coworker 60 years old saying she wanted to get her college degree in nursing but she never did it. Then when we had a new coworker with a college degree, this 61 year old coworker got mad because that person was a reminder that she didn't go get her college degree. Smh You go Mom!! She is an inspiration to her twin boys.

I graduated medical school at the age of 40yo...this brought tears to my eyes...I wish my husband was half as supportive as hers. I had to do it knowing I had no other way out!

Great questions! No, I do not have any debt, nor am I taking out loans for school. As for the question as to how long I will practice after residency, the simple answer is: for as long as I want to! :-)
