Hi @tasiacustode, I had a question for you. I did this yesterday and loved it! However, I have some emails coming through that I thought I had set to come to a different folder. I muted them and then also labeled them. These emails are coming from others in my industry that have offered free tools on their platforms and if I unsubscribe I lose access to those. I utilize the resource but I really don't want all their other marketing materials. Any advice would be great. Thank you!

I went from 26K emails to 1,532 by using the “is unread” + “older than six months” combo. You rock. I was scared of deleting important emails but if I never opened them then 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks for the video! Quick question oncce ion awhiole I am getting a fetching errior when trying to get my emails to come in my inbox. I have it set up for my gmaIs and emails from my other email account I have to come in my inbox. Sometimes I wont get an email for a few hours and realize the emails have not fetched then I have to maniually "check emails now" button and then they come thru. Any idea what is going on?

Hi! Thanks for subbing! I resize and reposition myself to the lower right or left corner of the screen (just as a layer on top of the screencast). I shoot my on-camera portion separate from my screencasts.

Hello, Can you please tell me how I can remove emails from a designated label preceding a certain date? For example: under a Label called: Automotive Related I would like to delete all emails prior to 2022/01/01. Is there a way I can use a filter to accomplish this? Many thanks in advance!

I didn’t have a Select All box like U did 😢. Not sure how U got it to populate, hence U were already there when you were teaching me how to do it. No time that I opened Gmail was there a “select all” button just sitting there. Nope didn’t work for me. I wanted to delete in bulk. I need tutorials dummy style for a person that is truly clueless. All the way from A to Z, it hurt me that U didn’t do that. I’ve got 101K emails 😂 This is terrible

Thank you! I think this worked. I'm sure you have a video on how to stop mail from places where you signed up for darn near anything. Those emails are the ones that clutter up my inbox. Junk emails, I would guess you would call them?? Subscribing.

These emails come from different sources. Click on the email..I.e. open the email itself. Go to the bottom and click on unsubscribe.

Why don't they have filtered emails go straight to a folder and not sit in the inbox? Outlook does this and it is very handy. I don't want to go through all my inbox emails looking for 1 email

@TasiaCustode Thanks for your helpful videos! I’m hoping you can help me fix a problem. I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use the phone’s inherent “MAIL” app. I noticed a while ago that something weird happened to my gmail account. I can still send and receive messages on the app, but if I delete or archive emails on the app, they are still there (not deleted) when I later view my gmail on the desktop. It’s like the delete feature on the app isn’t syncing with the desktop version. It used to work just fine. Help!

Hmm a few things could be happening. You can try two different things. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap your gmail account, then tap on the account at the top at the bottom, tap on 'advanced' In the Advanced settings, change the destination mailbox for discarded emails to Deleted Mailbox. (for the record, mine is set to archive mailbox, but still deletes emails properly in Gmail). You can always toggle on and off and see if that re-sets. OR remove the Gmail account from the mail app and re-add it. Hopefully these help!

I may have missed it but in your 5 tips I didn't see / hear instructions on how to reverse my email from newest to oldest. I want to delete starting with oldest emails which are years old. Is there perhaps another video for that?

1) Lots of great tips there! I was only using one of the five! I also liked the plus+sign trick, when giving out my email address. Thank you @TasiaCustode!! ... 2) I do have a different problem, if you can help? I've filtered my emails with a bunch of rules. However, the emails that say they are filtered have the filtered label, they are assigned the filtered label and NOT the Inbox label, yet they still appear in my Primary tab even with the filtered label displayed with each email. Have you dealt with this before? Sincerely, John.
