I think this has to be the best GMC commercial ever

This may seem a little obsessive, but I haven't seen this commercial since about 2004 I think, and have been looking for it for years. Until now. .I unexpectedly stumble upon it. I always love the Piano.

I can't stop watching this commercial. When it use to come in television years ago I was totally mesmerized by it. The music and piano is awesome.

this is the first truthful advertising I have ever seen, all of those cars at the beginning, is actually the quality vehicle they make.

This Commercial never gets old. Very Inspiring.

I remember this ad used to come on during the X-Files. It was about 1997-98. I was in law school in San Diego. The internet was just really starting to come into its own. AOL was a thing. Chat rooms were a thing. I miss those times. Complicated, yet very simple at the same time.

The poster notes that AdTunes says Human, NYC did the music ... looking that up I found the COMPANY "Human" located in NewYork (as well as Los Angeles and Paris), this company has done many of these kinds of quality ad's (check the reels on their website, STUNNING!)... so I beleive for now the answer is still eluding us as to who spacifically is responsible for the music of this one.

Just looked this up to see what Will Arnett sounded like in these GMC commercials. It's apparantly the reason why he wasn't allowed to do the voice of KITT in the new Knight Rider series which uses Ford. They went with Val Kilmer instead.

Hate on Will Arnett?! I don't see how any reasonable human could do such a thing! No, it doesn't sound that much like him, but knowing that it is him just makes me laugh automatically, which kind of undermines the advert for me. :P

Whatever happened to the quadsteer GM Trucks? I once saw a late-night ad for them back in 2004 (I think) but never saw them materialize or read any reviews as to how good they were. But I guess they weren't good, or we'd still have them around!

@dankebuddha Ive honestly never driving one with that option on it, dont see many around. Ive just heard bad things, expensive to fix, and the tires wear out really quick, but like I said, ive never had a gmc, let alone one with quadrasteer.

so who at gm decided to build the ev1, a car thats better than the volt and 20 years older? It wasn't the same one that decided to lobby the cali government to remove it. Maybe its the engineer that built a 6 liter with less output than some 3 liters. Yea those guys are full of great ideas, no wonder they went bankrupt
