Something you missed about Engineer Land. Near the beginning when it cuts to all the mercs while Engineer is doing his thing, the Heavy isn't smiling initially. He looks more concerned until he realizes the camera is on him and then he quickly flashes a smile.

The skybox console thing is related to where in the skybox the NPCs are hiding their base. Meaning they've found a way to escape Gunslinger in a way that he can't quite figure out.

I think that "engineer land" is a video basically showing what happened when Gunslinger first booted up the game/showed up in gmod. It seemed all awesome and cool to the sentient ragdolls until he started getting violent and controlling them.

That skybox comment in the gunslinger spectrogram is part of a map compile log. There’s a well known bug whenever you use a skybox texture that isn’t a default half life(or whatever relevant source game)one that causes a similar error.

27:42 i would like to add something. Many people speculate that the video was actually made by Scizzy, thus explaining why nothing weird or paranormal happens, even when the player enters the pond. This implies that CGMV is the only one being haunted by the weird figure. As for the description, maybe CGMV told Scizzy about the weird shit that keeps happening in his copy of gmod 9 so Scizzy decided to check if his copy was also haunted. Also it seems that the shadow figure originated in the pond, given how it came out of it, and then flooded the entirety of gm_construct in the latest video EDIT: this becomes even more evident if you look at the file path in the description, which mentions Scizzy

This is why I treat my npcs and rag dolls with respect and I tend to make a little break room and unfreeze them once I’m done posing them for the scene or screenshot or animation.

Thanks for covering them again! You make plenty of interesting videos but I always loved your ARG ones. A small detail you may have missed (or didn't include for time's sake) is that the Pyro seems to move on his own during the "Engineer land" video while on the roller coaster. The general animation of the characters got a lot more stiff after "gunslinger" arrived in his bus, too

Personally, Badwater is probably my favourite. I sometimes find that ARG's can get pretty boring with a lot of filler content. So being more direct makes it still feel like an ARG but with a more streamlined, well made series of videos. Plus the contrast of the janky fake animations and the high quality, smooth animations for the living ragdoll scenes is awesome!

not sure if anyone's told you this before but: the classic gm videos "checking" video might've been recorded by scizzy. the "automatic upload stats" say the path of the video is "F:\ARCHIVE\backups\older\scizzy\checking.wmv" i think it also makes sense since mr. classic gm videos would probably shit himself at the thought of trying to visit those places again

Those ARG's where it's like archives are always good. I love that one Minecraft one where this guy named Mario something I forgot, who's uploading old videos from Minecraft. And along with his friend as well in some videos. This strange entity hunts them down or something to scare them. Loved it.

Dang, shoutout to Gunslinger for remaking that first video, not only was it cool to be more period accurate, but also shows just how much they've improved, and how much more thought out the series' become.

A detail that in Engineer Land that seemed to be overlooked was near the end of the video. Before the video cuts to black, if you were to look at the side door of the brick building, then you'll notice that someone was near the entrance and has been watching everything unravel for some time.

It shows us the lengths he has gone to torture a Scout who has meddled with his world, his script, and in doing so, exposed just how evil he is, by having us see what the Scout sees. Yeah, the gore is in your face, but honestly, that is the point. To demonstrate that those aren't clones, that is the same Scout that Badwater brought back to life to torment over and over, to punish Scout.

I left this comment under the bad water video about the scouts being tortured. I think 1) when he mentions something being taken away, he means his KZfaq channel. He's not the one uploading the videos of our ragdolls. 2) each character is not a clone, but not always the same. We saw all the different deaths of the red scout from the same perspective for a reason. It's the same memory. Kinda like how the bendy series handles Henry. He has all the exact memories of his real counterpart, but he isn't the same. These ragdolls are the same but different. Supporting this is how bad water talks to the red scout one on one. It's mostly the same red scout, and so it would be how much he suffers, not how much they suffer.

50k for pyrocynical is a hefty price but better then a hazbin hotel animation

ive actually realized as ive experimented , that with the gredwitch mod ( a gun and artillery mod in gmod) if you hold your physics gun and use one of the guns (just getting on the gun with e i mean ) your ray goes invisible , and your gun too , but if you change to something else that isnt in the first gun category it undoes the effect , So yes, this could be a really cool tip, for channels that do alot of these animations.the mod is called gredwitchs emplacement pack ,ive found that using 3 mortars at once then leaving them (without pressing e, just walking away i mean), can do the effect .
