Now I'm imagining myself as an SCP that appears in the aftermath of disasters, wandering around talking to itself. I search for people to interact with, but will will invariably be startled and attack if I see even a hint of a person, which is why everyone stays inside and avoids me. And because I'm always talking to myself, I'm mostly easy to avoid.

I love how you can see the radiation in the second map during the storm. That flickery snow effect only happens when someone is taking a picture of something heavily radioactive, due to the charge particles beaming through the camera.

That reminds me of a funny moment from the second of L. Frank Baum's Oz books, where the protagonists cobble together pieces of furniture and a mounted animal head, and bring it to life with magical powder as a means of flying to safety.

If you like the cosmic cause for zombie apocalypse, I'd suggest exploring a gmod port of the Call of Duty World at War Zombies maps! Or exploring it in the original game! I'd think you'd enjoy exploring those maps!

I'm sure the green and red balls are an anomaly that arises because of radioactive rain because the stalker call of shadow Chernobyl alone, the anomaly arises from radioactive rain that mutates creatures living under it so it could be water There's radiation as well and maybe you died without cause because you stepped on the anomaly or also you step on the water exposed to radiation And if you see storm maybe it's emission if you don't seek shelter you can die just like in game stalker call of pripyat

The second map seems to be designed after the "Jupiter" factory, a real life abandoned facility in Pripyat, but most people know it from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat

In a specific video, you explored a rp map that took the form of a dark, snowed-in and creepy soviet-era Apartment. I can't seem to find this video anymore. Did you delete it?

@@TheLibrarianYT That's not it, it was definitely a gmod rp map and it was very, very small, a single apartment and I think a basement? Edit* I found what I was looking for, turns out it wasn't a video by the Librarian at all but rather KidDizzyProductions. I had confused it for something the Librarian made on account of the somewhat similar video formats. The map in question was gm_section.

I think the meteorite might be a reference to Lovecrafts Color From Space, on which an anomalous glowing meteor crashes into a farm and begins causing horrific things to happen. otherwise, pretty neat idea even without the allusion

13:51 I'll be honest, I'd relax on the couch with a couple of friends even during the apocalypse. We'd gather whatever drinks we have left, whether it's water or booze, and just hang out. I mean, we're all going to die anyway, so we might as well spend our time together until we become environmental storytelling in someone else's story.

I might be confusing it for something else, but I think it's from some game, where the laugh is from the boss (whether the big boss or a level boss, I don't recall either), right at the start of the boss fight.

So my theory for the second map is so in the game stalker there are these things called blowouts I don't know much about them but I think that's what happened here was a blowout it's kind of like an explosion

When I sawyouexplore the second map, I thought to myself that it would be fun for you to experience the game INFRA, but when I checked, I noticed that I actually watched your video about the scariest moments in INFRA back when I watched another youtuber play the game. I had intended to start after Outer Wilds, but I ended up having to push it back due to FtF becoming a series. I have to go away for a while in mid June for reasons I'll talk about in a video later, but once I get back from that, Into the Radius will be the next long series.
