Thank you so much for what you said. I really thought you were going to say I wasn't doing enough to be better and I have tried so hard. I thought God might be upset with me for not being able to handle myself as I was made. I felt like it's my fault I don't have better control over how I feel. God Bless you.

When I was ten to twlve I suffered with clinical depression to the point I was admitted to a mental health facility my dad was ashamed as a catholic that they gave me phyatric medication that saved my life when I would vist my dad he would take away my anti depressionts and I would go threw a withdrawl to the point of meltdowns in stores and that’s when my dad would give in and give it to me when his wife would leave I have a learning disablity major depressive disorder and ptsd and I have to take four to five phyatric medication to function daily

I watched some videos saying that pharmakeia in the bible refers to drugs. I'm afraid to take them and lose my salvation with Jesus.

People who interpret the original language of the Bible need to understand mental illness? It's been admitted by the National Institute of Health that there is zero evidence of chemical imbalances and that they have no idea why some anti depressants work. This is worth knowing and looking into before we call everything "mental illness" and attribute everything to the physical realm and not the spiritual.
