I got into so many arguments about this game not being on AR. They forced him to hand off and throw and he played a good game. This game was completely on the OL and defense.

Why they didn't insert etienne to field the punt since he fields kickoffs(same skillset to field a punt or kickoff). But they chose to insert a guy who hasn't fielded one kick or punt all season. Ask the genius game changer analyst.

I really did not want to watch a video like this after a Vandy loss, but this is good content nonetheless. Great stuff.

13:05 He is wrong AR should keep it as the RB is so much further outside while the two defenders momentum is going inside that could pitch it and have a big gain maybe a touchdown. Not correct read. Sometimes the defense bluffs and shows but all of their momentum is coming downhill this is when you keep and pitch

BOTTOM LINE: Richardson is not a drop back qb and never will be. Reminds me of Meyer in 05 trying to make an option QB out of Leak. Didn't work real well. Remember the LSU game when Florida was gifted 5 turnovers and STILL LOST AND MEYER CRIED....Richardson is an option QB and always will be. If someone wants to take a chance and draft him in the first round, have at it.

Dan mullen and billy gonzales recruited a room full of slow big WRs who cant get open nor catch for four years. Thats Like receiving a rocks when you go trick or treating.

Richardson needs to be running so much more. Not sure what Napier is doing but so many things open up on offense when the defense has to account for Richardson!!

its always one thing or another with this offense. I think Billy was looking ahead to FSU and thought that running his stock playbook would just work against a team with less talent like Vandy. As you pointed out, he's stubborn with his tendencies and Vandy was ready for it.

But if that’s case why not turn it up after halftime? The problem isn’t looking forward the problem is napier play calling. He’s not elite. I give him credit in his run design but his passing his basic and predictable. I’ve been saying this even before he called a game. He should’ve had an Oc and just be our head coach. I like billy as our coach just not our play caller. He scheme is good enough to win and lose you the game. He had the best recruiting class for 3 years in the sunbelt yet his games was always close. How is that? I could tell you but what’s the point.

A lot of it is AR not being a consistent passer , and not having capable WR's , you give us 4 Ricky's and maybe we have a chance, but then again maybe we don't, AR plays to uptight at times , needs to just play ball and quit worrying about injuries and NFL
@weaponx2980
@weaponx2980 Жыл бұрын
@@791482 and there it is, blaming talent especially when a capable oc can scheme anyone open. As for AR napier is the QB coach so he’s failing him. Instead of installing your offense and having AR uncomfortable he should’ve built a offense temporarily until he got the the QB he needs to run his offense. Build your offense around AR and what he’s comfortable with. You can tell he struggles in this scheme. He’s more comfortable in a spread. Ricky isn’t the only capable WR! Shorter is a good WR. The big problem is the passing designs

@WeaponX I see what u saying and I agree with most of it , but just think about how long he was with mullen and even he chose to play Emory, I feel like AR is a absolutel BEAST when he let's it all hang out, think LSU last year , and 2 games this year... no consistency in his touch on the ball , on simple throws at that , he plays to not make mistakes instead of trusting his talents/arm . I bet if someone else came in and played as a starter and he came off the bench he'd be a totally different player 💯
@791482
@791482 Жыл бұрын
@WeaponX and I do agree with us hiring a OC , I just think it's the right thing to do , bring in a offensive mind and be the head man and call a play here and there , but most importantly just run the show . I do believe he'll make some changes in the off season for sure hopefully 🙏🏾

I say most of what you’re saying in my gators page on Facebook and other fans think I’m just talking. I’ve played since I child up until I left high school and I coach so I understand scheme. A lot of napier play designs are very basic in the passing game. I say prefer an OC they think I’m saying fire napier. Or everyone wants to use the excuse of being year 1! Well it’s year one coaches with less talent doing better than us. We lose to 3 teams with less talent and struggled with 2. Im not expecting championship but I except progression game to game and a gauge on what we will see going forward with better talent. If ppl use the argument of billy first time in the sec then why is Brian Kelly doing better than us and played a tougher schedule. Tcu first year head coach is undefeated. Oregon true first year head coach is 8-2. By the same ppl who bring you ratings on recruits told the nation we are 5th in the sec and 12th nationally in roster talent but how we played this year you wouldn’t think so

Oregon also only lost 3 games last year. They have been stacked up on every position due to Cristobal's recruiting. I truly think that some of these players have still given up in the mullen mindset.

This the video I been waiting for we need a change on offense a new OC , a new passing coordinator something bc this offense is s9 boring and not gonna get it done I hate being a run first time I like a spread pass type offense
@weaponx2980
@weaponx2980 Жыл бұрын
We do need a pass game coordinator! But napier is not going to give up calling plays because obviously he has dreams of being a elite play caller. It’s so many negatives thing about napiers offense and his track record but I will say I like him as our head coach and that’s it. I hope it gets better because he will be here for atleast 3 to 4 years if it don’t change

It’s a team game and it seems we weren’t playing as team. Vandy played stop the run and we didn’t take advantage of their defense often enough to change it. Now the stupid stuff, mental, and idiot penalties damn sure didn’t help a team who was flat and unfocused from kickoff. Billy needs an OC in the box I think but what do I know

To say there were no opportunities for AR to keep the ball in the first half has got to be way off. I can remember 3 separate times and you just skipped over it. Ar himself said there were times that he should’ve kept it. Stop with the agendas and call it how you see it. Everyone wants to be believe that he’s mahomes or josh Allen, or that Napier is holding him back. The truth is yes he has that potential but he’s so far from reaching it, very far. He has thrown screen passes into the dirt and can’t id blitzes at times. You make great videos but lately it’s seemed agenda based.

What agenda could I have. I am not affiliated with the team or with anyone. I didn't omit plays where he should have kept it. If you think you know of a some in the first half send them to me. If you want to argue that AR should keep it sometimes even if the read isn't clear he should that is fine, but I didn't see a play in the first half where he should have clearly kept it. I have also been consistently critical of the weaknesses that AR has all throughout the year, each film review shows that.
