That's all we ever asked for, was progress. Under Mullen we never got any. They regressed if anything. I'm happy to see them playing with more confidence. It's pretty obvious something or someone was holding them back.

I wonder how much of the defense success is the absence of Cox? you dont see Dean being exposed as much anymore. it would be safe to say that no way Den all of a sudden just got better. I personally hink it was the hings Cox was doing to cause issues in our secondary.

I would throw that game tape in the trash if I was either of those teams. South Carolina had too many injuries, and they didn't come play in any event. Watching it likely to do more harm than good.

Big Dez felt that ball slipping and cut the stiff arm short you could see it during the replays...but maybe they started watching your breakdowns 😆. Go Gators!

It looks like they fooled Florida on the fake punt because the two gunners lined up off the ball behind the line of scrimmage, making Joyner, lining up at OT on the end, eligible. Most of the time the linebacker wouldn't look for the OT going out for a pass because he'd be ineligible. Credit South Carolina for making him eligible by having the gunners off the ball and making Joyner at OT eligible, something Florida players probably wouldn't have recognized quickly.
