Lucky you, that's rare! Not quite SOP-friendly but pretty well flown lol, unlike the A350 tail strike in YYZ last January, under very similar circumstances - fear of long landing apparently. EK521 is a sad example of the difficulty to decide quickly between stepping on the brakes and performing a low go around. Ultimately, the lower the G/A, the riskier it becomes. Not sure about the date but it was in June 2023. Seat 15A. I was upgraded to premium economy due to being a frequent flyer with delta airlines. It was my first time flying Air France and I had a great experience!

The reason for the go around is the plane is not line up on the runway or the pilot forgot to use full reverse thrust?

We floated too far down the runway and the pilots had to make a split second decision whether to stop or go around.

The pilot overshot the touchdown zone and it became unsafe to try and stop.
