I think they're just blanks with a flash...not sure tho

Think they're airsoft guns. Completely safe and just use carbon dioxide. They can also allownthe gun to recoil such as the slide on the pistol to look realistic

@@mr_charisma8125They are actually barrel plugged guns. They are real guns firing blanks, but the barrel is completely blocked so they can fire them at close range safely. It also allows for the guns to have to have real shell ejections, and the actors can preform realistic reloads that you couldn’t with airsoft guns.

After seeing the movies I feel a bit let down the fights are not looking painful at all, and here you see why. They were not even holding a punch until the end, and kicks were off by a mile. Mostly no contact fights, which is understandable, yet it instantly lowers the appeal.

That's the movie magic of camera angles, to make it look real when it isn't. They do a great job in the movies though. I love the behind the scenes. They train so hard for these fight scenes. The punches and kicks may not land (most of the time), but they do go home super sore and full of bruises. Injuries happen all the time.
