The 904 is gonna smoke a TH350, what were the previous owners thinking? Even the Chevy guys with any power bypass the TH350 for a Powerglide or TH400. You've corrected that beef of mine, now you need a 8-3/4" rear if it has a 9" Ford rear axle, they are notorious power eaters because of the dumb pinion placement!! If an 8-3/4" won't hang, get a DANA 60!!

Back in the day in the '70s it was a guy with a dragster trailer filled with gaskets any gasket or sealer oil pan and a lot of other parts you might need he'd go to a lot of tracks that was cool you can just buy parts from himSomebody should do that now that was quite handy have a Mopar Day

Back when I was in elementary school, (early 70’s)… my 1/4 mile walk to and from school took me past a beautiful yellow Duster with aluminum slots… parked in a driveway and I never saw it move. Wasn’t a gear head yet, but I absolutely loved that car.

Jeff even says there it is and boom, a big click and another 1/2 inch at least. If it doesn’t click 3 times you can break your transmission. Absolutely. Sometimes the last 2 clicks can be quick together if you are spinning quick so it seems like 2. Thank you so much for taking the turbo 350 out of that car. I’m not saying they are bad but it’s a Mopar.

I like the extra effort that Jeff puts into everything, like the bracket. But I was a little disappointed in reusing the U-bolts for the axal on the Duster. U-bolts stretch and should always be replaced with new.

Don't forget, The ARP lube should be used under the head of the bolt or the bearing surface of the nut and on the threads, unless a thread sealer is used.

Alison driving with Tommy an Jeff as a team . By the end of this season if not the middle of it. Will be in the 6's ,yall know it . Run vp c23 and 50 to 75 shot on the hit an ramp it to 300 in 1.5 . Yall running slicks too..... it'll be consistently in the 6's. Don't know how heavy the car is race ready but I believe it'll be 6.50. Oh an I love nitrous express . Used there big shot plate, with there mini ( not the fance one ) I had the one you click the two buttons on to change % on a true stock block bottom end 302 /306. My best was a 6.14 on a radial but only put bout 45% at the hit with a ramp to 276 or so in 1.4 . That was a real sad day seeing her go. Probably as said as it'll be seeing my daughter get married , I'm getting old lol . Anyway any nitrous Express stuff I could receive would be awesome. Awesome, cant wait for each video from g2 ,src ,and old man's channel this year. Cool watching an seeing how this has evolved over all these years. Real cool . God bless.

I beat on that shifter in Jeff's challenger for a couple years before he bought it! That's my favorite shifter for a 3 speed other than a precision.

Great video. I grew up in the shop with my grandpa and uncle and really love the memories from that time. I now wrench on my own stuff to help with my anxiety but wish my daughters and or wife shared my interest in being in the shop.

Nice converter that will make a difference

I bought a \6 Duster one time, got it cheap because one of them bolts for the flex plate backed out just enough he thought it spun a rod bearing lol that was a good deal for me.
