A few months after Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy ended their musical partnership, Liam joined brothers Paddy, Tom and Bobby for this appearance, a Sean Kelly (a cyclist) special, a rare opportunity to see all four brothers together. Robbie O'Connell was living in Massachusetts, while the brothers lived in Ireland at this point, explaining his absense. Sean Kelly is also from Carrick-on-Suir. Clancy sister Peg Power also performed a theatrical monologue, see other video.

Any fan of Irish Music Needs to Cherish this! Liam is in bad health - he is the last of the "Brilliant" Clancy Brothers. I wish you all the best Liam - I'm sure if you attack this illness with the same vigour and pragmatic approach as you are known for - you will be 100%in no time! Robbie.

It is great moment when audience starts to enjoy the song and sing along with the band. Almost everybody, young or old. I wonder if today traditional song can anywhere cause such a positive reaction.
