I saw the Clancy Brothers play in the 1980s at the North Texas Irish Folk Festival. They were wonderful and gave me their autographs. Perfect gentlemen and they even wore their signature matching cream colored sweaters.

What a disgusting display of toxic masculinity and monoculture, this isn’t our culture, not who we are is it? 😂

I went as a kid and loved it. I then took my kids in 2007 and was afraid with all the technology, they'd be bored and not enjoy it. Both my son and daughter hit me up for cowboy hats and absolutely loved the experience. They were totally into it. I'll definitely go back. I haven't been since the reopening after the fires and floods, but am looking forward to the new facility and the old time experience.

Perspective is everything! Some old guy said: "80 yrs later and still nothing comes even close to The Stooges!!!!" And I'm genuinely thinking: "This is the stupidest, most boring thing I've ever seen in my life."

My father (Vern) and Joe are Pastors at Colorado Cowboys for Jesus Church on the Westside of Colorado Springs just outside of Old Colorado City. Ronnie joins them for worship several weeks a month as well. Wes moved home to Texas and did shows with his brothers for a while. I believe he's now part of a worship team in Texas. Scotty is Pastor at Church on the Ranch that was held at the Flying W until the fire destroyed the ranch 12 years ago. They have built a church towards the East side of Colorado Springs since then.

The later incarnation of the group, Paddy, Bobby, Liam and Robbie O'Connell appeared for several years at the Los Angeles Irish Fair, back in the 1990s. I'd always request this song and they would always accommodate that request. I miss those old days, and Tommy Makem appeared there also with his sons a couple of times. It was grand!
