There never was or ever will be any singing duo like The Righteous Brothers. Bobby, with his amazing counter-tenor voice and baritone to G5 and higher range, Bill with his wonderful Bass-Baritone...incomparable. Another thing that set them apart, the feeling, emotion, and love they put into every song they sang.

This is called blue-eyed soul. These guys were the best. Bobby Hatfield with his beautiful tenor voice & Bill Medley with his deeper voice. They were magic together. And remember this is done live. No auto-tuning crap like today. And the songs had meaningful beautiful lyrics.

Blue Eyed Soul actually was a Phrase Coined in Philadelphia that also had alot of Blue eyed Soul singers. Len Barry (123), Vicky Sue Robinson (Turn The Beat Around), and Karen Young (RIP) with Hot Shot.

This was done on a 1960's American Show called Hullaballoo. Before Music Videos Rock & Roll Singers did US Music Shows. The most powerful was American Bandstand, then Where The Action Is (Both Hosted By Dick Clark). They got their name when they were performing in Navy Bases in San Francisco, and the Black Sailors would clap and say "That's Righteous Brothers". That Week's Show was hosted by Nancy Sinatra (Daughter Of Frank). Bill was heavily influenced by American Blues Singers like BB King, and Ray Charles.

@Peacesent Makeover They actually got tje name Rightous Brothers when they were doing a concert at a southern black club back then and there was a table of black United States Marines and when they were done singing one of those Marines told them they were Rightous Brothers.

The lady in the middle is fantastic. I could listen to her all day , The 2 ladies on her sides are terrible. The middle woman is speaking cleary with enthusiasm while the other 2 sit like statues. No emotions from the side girls. too quite. I don't think their right for a reaction video.
