Goat giving birth - full video

3 жыл бұрынHere is a full video that shows the entire kidding process of a goat giving birth. We show the whole process from when the goat starts showing signs of beggining the labor process to when the kids are born.
The entire process took about 45 minutes since when the doe began to push to when the two kids were born. The spacing between the first kid and the second was about 15 minutes. It was an easy birth with normal presentation where both kids were presented with the front legs and head first.
This video is for education purposes. Viewers discretion is advised as some of the footage might not be easy to the eyes.

hi just a friendly suggestion from me(a goat breeder) if it is possible you may want to trim your goats hooves on the right at the time 2:05 in the video so he can walk easier and it would feel much better for him but if your surcomestances are making you not able to do so do to his weight or something like that, that's ok also if you need,I know at tractor supply co. and other stores have little contraptions so you can enclose him in it and gently turn him upside down for a minute so his feet are sticking up and you can trim them ty for reading and I don't mean this in a mean way I just want to give you a tip in case you didn't know because we all learn something new everyday lol have a great day

Do you mean the birthint process was too slow? The video was recording the birth as it was - we did not edit the speed of the footage.
