You're right. Soap is made to wash, but it's great if it's nice too and your soaps are always so beautiful.

I don't know how or why I stumbled upon your channel but I am so happy I did! I love your work and I have been binge watching! (and not because I've nothing else to do) I ordered a couple bars last night and I can't wait to get it! Your soaps are beautiful and I look forward to trying even more of them! Thank you, dear Ellen. We also own a farm in Pretoria and we have 6 goats. My hubby gave me a litre to try out in my soap. I have it freezing at the moment. I am so very new to soap making so I am super excited to try out the goats milk. I also use kaolin clay in my recipe. My soaps are still very simple. Love from Pretoria, South Africa

So great to find your page. I'm researching how to make goats milk soap that doesnt turn brown! I tried a batch the other day with coconut milk and set it to gel and it turned a horrendous dark brown but I did use the heat transfer method as well as just the powder blended into oils :( It was nice to learn the temp you use so need to try again. Will watch the rest of your vids and see how much I can learn :) Thanks for sharing! Your soaps are amazingly pretty! AND I LOVE YOUR STAMP!

Ellen this is such a beautiful soap. I have been using kaolin clay in my soaps to anchor the scents. I have a sampler of different colored clays from Nuture but haven't used them yet. Now I am inspired. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ellen thank you for sharing, I like how it came out, rich and creamy and the colors were soft and delicate..would u pls tell me how to melt my tussah silk fibers since it would be going on top of ice cubes ? Would the lye still be hot enough to melt it out with the frozen milk..thanks

Thanks! Yes, even with the goat milk frozen, it still gets hot enough to melt the silk. I wait until the silk is melted, then I ice bath my milk/lye solution...

Hi, beautiful soap. So I used this Fragrance 5 weeks ago. It did soap beautifully. But the fragrance has just about completely left my bars. Did you have this issue? I love the fragrance, it’s soooo good. If you didn’t have this issue I’m definitely gonna try it again. 👍♥️

Thanks! It did retain the scent for me, although it lightened up a bit. I used about 1 oz per lb., and am so happy with the final result, I bought it again! I've had a few fragrances fade out on me over the years, and it's such a bummer...

Ellen Ruth Soap Yup I need to up my amount. I used about half that. It’s such a great fragrance. When I first got it I dropped some in my wax warmer.. 😋 smells so good!... It’s a great rose fragrance for ppl who don’t like rose. Lol

Unethical mica harvesting is so sad.... Not all mica is harvested this way.

Mostly made in a lab, at least who I buy from (Brambleberry, nurture soap...) but I'm not exact on how synthetic mica is created...
