@@oofmcoofy6769 Lets say you did believe in god but you were wrong, at least the religion you followed taught you to be a better man, Islam teaches me basic human rights like not killing, not to rape, not to commit war unless if absolutely necessary, to be merciful even to the people who did wrong to me, to respect women and that they are equal to men, to lower my gaze like Jesus (Isa A.L) used to do when he saw women without a head covering, and to not fornicate or commit adultery. So if god wasn't real at least i know that i died a good person, and lets say you were atheist and then you died, then turns out God does exist, then you would most likely go through a painful punishment, so why would i risk that? So that's my reason why i believe in a God. Now, on whether which god is right and wrong can be debated till the end of time.

@@conjuredcounter8145 Why would a god punish me for simply not believing in them? I do think i'm a decent person, i don't see any point in violence, lying, hating on anyone based on their skin tone/religion/atheism/disability or committing crime for any reason. I've been given chances to become religious in school, reading the bible and a few pages of the romani bible, ive even gone to church a couple of times however i failed to see a reason to practice any religion
@conjuredcounter81453 жыл бұрын
@@oofmcoofy6769 now that's a very good question that I have some explanations on ill paste them here, real quick before i paste them on the topic of how the Christian faith made you lose faith in a belief system has happened to all of my reverted friends who reverted from Christianity to Islam, Christianity been corrupted beyond comprehension, I can literally send you 100 contradictions of the 100's of different bibles of the different sects that exist, if you want to know the contradictions just ask me for my Instagram and ill send you all of them, but the Quran and Islam are 1, the Quran has never changed and the only sects of Islam only exist like Sunni and Shia are all political reasons. Now back to punishing disbelievers, Allah is the Most Merciful, therefor he will not punish a disbeliever if he has no knowledge of Islam, but those disbelievers that were told of Islam and learned of all the historical and scientifically proven evidence and choose to ignore it due to ignorance or wishing to feed there own desires, Allah will surely give a just punishment. ❶ - Those who disbelieved did so for the entire life span, so they will be punished for the entire life span in the next life. Even though this life span is finite, it does not refute the fact that they disbelieved for as long as they lived, and would have disbelieved for as long as they could live. And in fact, if they were returned to this world, they would continue disbelieving. So the just punishment is to be punished in the next life for as long as they will live in the next life (forever). ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا يا ليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ربنا ونكون من المؤمنين - بل بدا لهم ما كانوا يخفون من قبل ولو ردوا لعادوا لما نهوا عنه وإنهم لكاذبون - "If you could but see when they will be held over the (Hell) Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back (to the world)! Then we would not deny the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of our Lord, and we would be of the believers!" Nay, it has become manifest to them what they had been concealing before. But if they were returned (to the world), they would certainly revert to that which they were forbidden. And indeed they are liars." (6:27-28) ❷ - They chose eternal punishment. Disbelievers chose to be punished for the entire Hereafter, because they were warned by God and repeatedly informed of the punishment for disbelief. They knew it, and chose it, and in fact, you find many of them in the zeal of ignorance demanding God bring on the punishment, as a way of mockery and challenge to God. So, they chose it. ويستعجلونك بالعذاب ولولا أجل مسمّى لجاءهم العذاب وليأتينهم بغتة وهم لا يشعرون - يستعجلونك بالعذاب وإن جهنم لمحيطة بالكافرين - "And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not! They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers." (29:53-54) There is no evidence from the Quran that every non muslim will 100% go to Hell. Is Allah unjust? No.

Trust me I wish God was real but I know that when you die you die, why would God be real. Do you remember what happened before you were born..... No because you didn't exist nor your body. your soul is your brain and your shell is your body, (your physical elements) all of which are temporary. You yourself are temporary. As you are your brain because that's where you think and technically exist with thoughts and emotions etc, that is a physical form not some spirit or soul. It is simply something that will be left behind when you die. Where you go I can't figure that out. But I know at least you don't go anywhere except no where

I USED TO HAVE REALLY BAD ANXIETY. I would overthink things, I was scared to talk to girls one on one, I couldn't even raise my hand in a classroom because I was too scared of people judging me. And I had never been to church and I never really believed in God or anything like that and then one day I went to this Bible study at my school and I enjoyed it and then I started going every week and started to learn about who God really is. Then I started going to church and Bible studies and I started to seek Jesus by praying and reading the Bible thinking "if God is actually real, I'm going to see if it's true". And then that summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night the preacher said, "If anyone is going through anything or needs healing, I want you to come up to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front, got on my knees and I cried out to God and I said, "God if you're real if you can heal me from my anxiety help me get healed" and right then He spoke to me so clearly for the first time in my life and it was one of the only times I heard Him so clearly and He said, "I've healed you from your anxiety, and it's not going to come back" and right after that happened the preacher said if anyone got healed to come up on stage and tell everyone and right when he said that I INSTANTLY got up, went on stage and told like 900 people that God had healed my anxiety and He did. And that happened in the summer of 2019 and it hasn't came back since then and I know it won't because that's Who God is. He's the God of healing. The God of miracles. And He loves you so much. Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? We have fallen short of the glory of God and we deserve hell. Because we have sinned against God and broken His commandments. And there's nothing we can do to gain heaven because heaven is perfect and me and you aren't. Now this is some devastating news! Well here's the good news: God loved us soooo much that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to the earth, to live a perfect life, not sinning ONCE, and then dying on a cross for YOU. He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be able to go to heaven! How awesome is that?! All you have to do is turn away from your sin, believe in Jesus, and that He's in full control of your life that He rules over you and you serve Him, and believe that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved! It's not by works or being a good person. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him He loves you so much and so do I!! If you have any questions or you just decided to turn to Jesus and don't know what to do next, or you just need someone to talk to, I would love for you to direct message me on Instagram @anthonybrunske and I can help you! This right here is a true christian. We are not bigots, haters, fakers, liars, those are the people who say they are christians but probably are not. We love every person on earth regardless who what they do. We may not love what they do, oh no, but we love them. And so does God. So does God.
@perebebepekarakishume6052 Жыл бұрын
If we truly love them, we must correct them and let them know of their destructive ways and through God, guide them to the correct way. If they still refuse even after telling them the truth and they keep refusing or not listening, we let God handle them the way He will. Fake and deceived Christians are those who try making friends with the world. The world is against God even though He created the human beings who choose to be in the world. If the world persecutes a Christian out of hatred and jealousy and criticizing them for every single thing even though the Christian had done nothing wrong, then that only means the world simply hates God and refuses to obey Him because a Christian denies themselves and lets God do His will through them as a willing vessel. But often, even if people refuse to listen to the truth, God hardens their hearts for His own glory. His ways are those that we cannot comprehend or understand. All we can do is obey Him, listen to His word and love Him with all of our heart, soul and mind. His word is true, and He will always stand by what He shows and says. The world is deceived, Satan has deceived the entire Earth and Jesus is the Saviour. He said just before He died while He was being persecuted, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they're doing.". He knows that the world is bad, but He forgives us. If we continue to want to be against God, we won't go to heaven with Him, because Heaven is an eternal place with God. If someone is against God, why should God send him to heaven with Him? God is testing all of us on this Earth and we make the choice to either be with Him or against Him. We choose either lies and deception or the truth and choose to abide in it rather than forget and deny it.

@@perebebepekarakishume6052 we shouldn't walk up to people and tell them they are wrong. If they are your friend or family maybe, but we can easily introduce them to god without doing this.
@perebebepekarakishume6052 Жыл бұрын
@@BlitzTheFoxi Yes, telling people they're wrong usually hurts their pride and they end up breaking. Correcting somebody is not a bad thing, but people view it in a very bad light because the world is prideful. People who are wise or even wiser than you will love you for correcting them. People who don't believe in God are usually those who feel ashamed and they want to keep doing something wrong, usually that's the case. The first word Jesus said when He spoke to the crowd was 'repent', which means 'change your ways', which is a form of correction, and actually only people who were narcissistic became mad at him who were the Pharisees, and then the Pharisees managed to convince people later that Jesus is not who He says He is. I know what you're talking about, by the way. Unfortunately, even if you tell someone who is blinded the exact truth even in the most understandable way but they have their spiritual ears closed, they will never listen and maybe just mock you for telling them the truth. It doesn't matter how we say the truth to them, they simply won't listen but it's worth it giving it a chance. The times we're living in are actually full of narcissistic people, including ourselves who are getting more and more deceived. We live in very easy times in terms of life, we've got the easiest life we've ever had in more than two thousand years and yet people are complaining more than being grateful. Back then, people were more grateful than they were complaining. We live in bad times in terms of pride because all people want to talk about is themselves and how to improve themselves, therefore it will be even tougher to spread the truth because what Jesus keeps saying is to deny ourselves and people don't want to listen to that. But all the message is about is denying ourselves. People are being taught to love themselves more than God but this is what Jesus says: "If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else-your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters-yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple." I hope you understand what He says in here. He also says this. "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me" If you ever say the truth to someone and they don't seem to listen or truly understand, it's not you, at this moment you're not doing anything wrong and you're simply trying to let them know of simply the truth. You're spreading a message you didn't even form by yourself that you had received, and you're bound to be persecuted for it. But if you're being persecuted for spreading the truth in a loving way, that means you're doing right in the eyes of God because God knows their hearts and He is aware of how it works even if we don't understand it. Even if you're not being persecuted while speaking the truth in a loving way, that means the person you're talking to is not a fool and he is willing to listen. (-> my opinion: that is quite rare in the world we live in today.)
@BlitzTheFoxi Жыл бұрын
@@perebebepekarakishume6052 no they don't end up breaking please don't think like this you are making Christian's look terrible. It's just insulting to them and they don't care at all.

I agree with you, that they take correction as a form of insulting since they're not familiar with our terminology, and that I make Christians look bad to them, I agree with that statement too. I really appreciate your concern and your kind way of speaking, because it's calming and empathetic. Personally I prefer to tell somebody the truth to help them improve in the future. I don't know what choice you'll make because it's your decision, and I'll respect it. But yeah, it's important to keep peace with everyone, while at the same time speaking truthfully. People will tell you it's impossible to be at peace with everyone but it's actually possible. What's not possible is to please everyone though. That's something no one can achieve, and if they do, it will be through lies.

Even though I am Jewish, I took it to heart when he said that he would rather believe in God and be wrong that not believe, living a life of sin, and be wrong. Nothing bad comes with believing and it creates better people that strive to be better people for God.

I’m not Christian, but I come back to his videos every once in a while and they really do inspire me. R.I.P. Edit: I came back a year later to see this comment to see an argument. Since I wrote this I have now become a Christian and given my life to god, but whether or not you believe in him, god loves all. Because Jesus died on the cross for our sins. I find it ridiculous that people fight over what other people believe.

Lord forgive me for my foul tongue, but what the fuck did you expect the comments to look like?

Wow. I'm sure I got across this channel when the title was something about life advice, including his life story. I was an atheist/agnostic back then (1 or 2 years ago) and had no real direction in life. Logging into YT today and seeing this pop up on the front page, just makes me glad that I did indeed find God, and it warms my heart to realize that this man dedicated his time and study to God, even sharing something nice to us all! Like this man, may we seek the Lord God with our hearts in dedication to Him!

I found out about Bernard about 2 years ago, before he died, and I absolutely adored his personality, what he is passionate about and the truth he speaks. It is an utmost atrocity we had to say goodbye to him, but we all have to at one point. Thank you again, Bernard for the absolutely wonderful gifts you gave us and continue to give.

Dear Mr. Albertson. I know you will never see this comment but that’s alright. I just returned from a week long trip with some friends. It was a great week, but I came home feeling like a failure. When I opened KZfaq, I saw “an old mans advice” from your channel and watched it. I am a believer, and you have reminded me who I am. I am sorry I did not find you sooner, but I am glad to know you were a believer as well. I hope to meet you someday in Paradise, brother.

I used to leave lots of angry comments on videos like these (I am an atheist) but after taking some Catholic theology in college and meeting some really smart Christians who were able to explain why they are members of their faith, I can see your sincerely good intentions here. It's absolutely necessary to believe in *something*, whether that's a god or, in my case, the ingenuity and beauty of humanity, because without a reason to be the best person they can be, people lose motivation, stop contributing to society, and stop being happy. It's supremely important for Christians to believe, because whether or not God is real, that belief advances morality and well-being in a practical way in the world, and increases the happiness of the individual. If someone has a worldview that leads them to "get shit done," as it were, I'm all for it. As for why I'm not a Christian anyway (just to be safe), since I don't belong to any faith, I see the canons of all religions as equally relevant so long as they don't lead to morally wrong behavior. Since I don't have any way to definitively tell which camp is the correct one, I just focus on being as good a person as possible, which is a common theme across most religions.

Samwad the only difference is Jesus tells us we are not Good compared to Gods law the 10 commandments and since he is a Just God he will punish all liars thieves etc. Jesus the perfect blameless son of God on the cross paid our debt in the high courts once and for all saying in his last words, “It is Finished”. The Bible is the word of God. John 1:1 and in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. You can see different translations of this mean the same.

@@disprovementexposes3458 correct, since the big bang theory, the understanding that existence had a beginning and the expansion of scientific understanding many scientists acknowledge intelligent design. doesn't mean they jump right to the biblical g/God/s but they can see the signature of the artist on his masterpiece, predominantly because they can't understanding how the universe came from nothing, so yes " nothing proves his existence " only ignorant scoffers are complacent with it just happened, see there's a thing in science called the law of probability which rules out the numerous random chances, which is why educated scientists concede to intelligent design. an analogy is, a child that grew up without a parent, knew absolutely nothing about them even to the point of not being able to believe they really had one, but even still feeling resentment of being abandoned. even so the proof that there was that parent/s at some point is that person existing and didn't come from nothing. sorry you have daddy issues whether you grew up without one or with one that disappointed you, but carrying that over to God because you need him personalized is childish, educate and mature yourself and stop being butthurt you sound like an a55.
@lordsesshoumaru85963 жыл бұрын
Vaughn of course not, there is a limit to abandoning God and sin but those are they that are truly evil, we all struggle and fail but some no longer struggle and are evil. the words that you wrote would be impossible if you were anywhere close to that danger. God knows our limitations, he made us right.. Jesus said blasphemy against the Son and or the Father will be forgiven, growing pains and all, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven and again that level of / commitment to evil doesn't just happen. the fact that you can still desire a relationship with God and have his love can only mean you haven't forsaken the Holy Spirit. don't waste time worrying, you'll be alright.
