Thank you it's very timely! I feel like God's been trying to tell me these things and get me to stop analyzing what happened in the past but it's not easy and I can't figure out how to do it. I don't know how to get rid of the bitterness within me. But I'll keep asking the Lord for help and this video helps clarify a lot of things. Thanks Mark :)

wow, this is an on time word for me. #3 really stands out for me. I think I have been doing a lot of analyzing and learning about narcisstic abuse as I got out of a narcisstic relationship last year and realized some of my family members are but this opened my eyes that maybe I'm doing too much research in it all the time that may be keeping me in that healing/learning process longer than I should be.

The fact that I was just doing this. And the fact that I had to break off a friendship with a friend yesterday because I hadn't been the best type of friend to him, and at a point I was thinking that I would beat up myself, or accepted hurts in the future as like punishment for hurting him.

This has help me to understand that I don’t negatively see any past relationships as hurtful events, but had learned from it. So is “Hindsight bias” in simpler words “lying to yourself”?. One year in “analyzing”, I knew it was time to move on 😅.

Pray, and then go to that person and have a real conversation and tell them how you feel. All they can do is tell you no. If you do nothing the answer will always be no. Good luck and I hope all works out for the best for you. Prayers to you.

Yes, it's easy to look back and have regrets. Usually you should keep moving forward as it did not work for a reason, but if God is leading you to try it again then that is possible too
