Spear for Norse, a giant mace-like weapon for Aztec or Celtic, dual Kopesh for Egyptian and a fucking Katana for Japanese. My man Týr has walked it all and it's a perfect way to keep you on your toes.

​@@kevinkaslana9060 The giant mace/club thing is actually a sword of sorts, it's an Aztec Macuahuitl, the glowing parts along the side of the weapon are actually obsidian blades. Also consider during this fight he uses blood based attacks, and he can absorb the blood of minions to heal.

I wouldnt say tricked Kratos into therapy, there was no tricks or manipulations. Tyr came to him on his level, god of war to god of war. He just gave Kratos *effective* therapy by finding that common ground, fighting.

@@elvismatilde6630 I know the original plot of God of War 3 had plans for the Norse and Egyptian Gods enter the fold. Perhaps we'll see Egypt next? Another theory is Celtic/Gaelic. Imagine if we get to see The Morrígan down the road.

Seeing Týr, there's no way i could imagine odin capturing him. I feel like he threatened him eith declaring war on other realms if he didn't lock him self up in a cell, Let's not forget that mimir, the advisor and a counsellor was imprisoned ona top of the midgard peak with black breath blocking the only possible way to reach him, he had roots of an invincible tree wrapped around him that not even mjolnir could damage and just for good measure, had his eye ripped out to keep him from travelling. Meanwhile Týr in a wooden cell with iron bars that can be open simply by pulling them up, Týr wasn't restrained eith anything and wasn't missing any eyes, he definitely made some deal with odin so he would stay passive towards maybe certain races and Týr would sit tight ina cell

Tyr's closer to Athena in wisdom, even better. As it wad her who set Kratos into his journey of (sonewhat) atonement first and foremost, vengeance later on.. She's also the one who made Kratos an official God. Led him to the same Throne Tyr guards.

By that point, you've grasped how the Glyphs work and can use various ones to apply to your combat ability, but having a slew of them to affect your entire arsenal is how a true master of Valhalla fights.

That spin move with the dual khopeshes always threw me off. There's something about seeing a 8'5 foot tall Norse God jump into the air and spin with two giant blades with such elegance and agility that really highlighted how formidable he is. It was a little unnerving lol

I actually feel like if Thor didn’t play along, Tyr would be Odin’s second choice for his “destroyer”, being the God of War. Or maybe he was the first choice and I have it around the wrong way.

@@manuelfuica-martineau4940 Tyr tanked Kratos and simply stopped his punch with no problem. Thor would've been sent flying with that punch/ plus, Tyr has many weapons and they are super strong. Tyr has darkness, flame, destruction and to top it all, he THINKS. unlike thor, tyr knows patterns, how the opponent will attack, how strong will it be, how quick will it be. he clears his mind
