Fought the berserkers at the 34:00 mark with red bars, I was fighting them shortly after unlocking the spear and was doing cleanup before the Atreus portions. Took me 3 HOURS to whittle down, and I refused to give in. Once I killed both I shouted "SCREW BOTH OF YOU!!"

@@sockmen If you have good skills in parrying, Yes, i think it is the best option. But if you have a problem with parrying, Stone Wall Shield can be a better choice.

In general, Parrying is about timing, that's all. But a few things can help you get better. First try using The Dauntless Shield and equip rond of deflection Attachments, If you play on PS5 , use High Frame Rate mode and Trty don't lock on enemies. Some enemies , Especially Bosses, use Multi-hit attacks, so don't use runic abilities and heavy attacks to avoid slow down reactions. And finally, if you have access to the Arena in Niflheim, you can start practicing and learning the enemies attack animation, You can start with easier enemies, like Draugr Lord or Light Elf. That's all the advice I can tell you, I hope it really helps you.

You just have to learn the enemy's attacks and don't let the yellow markers throw you off. Pay attention to what the enemy is trying to hit you with and parry that at last second. Right when say their axe or hammer is about to hit you, block. Not just thinking you have to block immediately following a yellow marker. I played through the 2018 game a couple of times and never did get good at parrying so I just realm shifted and ignored parry. Dauntless shield changed that for me and now I am good at it.
