Kratos as a final boss is the coolest idea

2:59 nah, imagine fighting against Kratos, even if it’s Faye, it still gives me chills 🥶

imagine Atreus is playable in the DLC and is looking for the Giants with his Mother (Voice or Ghost)

I’d like to play as faye in a DLC it sounds pretty sick when you consider the idea that it could have fights against thor and kratos. Plus her gameplay will likely feel different but unique as well.

I would give EVERYTHING to have a Thor DLC story 😭 or hell a full game where we play as Thor

There are still questions a.k.a who blow the horn that was left unanswered. I think Atreus could be the lead character in the dlc, it's less risky then to start the next GOW with Atreus being the main, sort of Santa Monica's way of testing the water I guess. Here is my theory, since Thrud has the hammer, and world serpent still around, maybe Atreus would be time travel with Sindri to get that last piece of Brok's lost soul, by doing so, they will go back to the past and meet characters like Faye and Tyr.

If it's actually about Faye ngl it would go hard. We could get answers for the missing gods (maybe kill them lmao) & possibly have Thor & Kratos as bosses.

I would love to see Mimirs last year with Odin, while Fay is meddling in the background and tyrs relationship with odin gets Rocky, then mimir being put in the tree by Oden

Im less interested in seeing an expansion revolving around faye than I would be in seeing something that follows atreus post Ragnarok but its certainly a cool idea.

If a DLC is really in development, I'd like for them to answer all the questions from the 2018 instalment. I personally thought the series on Amazon Prime Video would do so... Anyway, here are some things I'd really like to see if the DLC should ever happen: How did Kratos end up in Midgard after the events of God of War III, and how did the Blades of Chaos end up back in his posession? How did he and Faye meet, and how did their encounter unfold (the battle)? Who. Blew. The. Horn??? (I still believe it was Faye - somehow.) I'd also like for them to explore more about Týr as well - how he travelled to the different realms etc.. Imagine Týr in Greece hearing of the tales of Kratos, collecting treasures such as wine from Lemnos and a vase with the Ghost of Sparta on it... The lore of the Norse saga is rich and deep enough to fill a big DLC. Let's wait and see...

You sold me on the Faye DLC now I want Kratos as a Final Boss

The DLC is a great way to give Kratos a reason to travel to Egypt or another of the realms as at the moment he's kind of living not a good life but he doesn't have anything to worry about at the moment. Atreus is doing his own thing with Angrbodr, Freya's on his side as are the VAST majority of the surviving Asgardians. While it's a good idea to expand and answer a lot of the questions that where left unanswered in the main story, the DLC could be used to give purpose to Kratos' next journey.

Would love to see a Sinmara, Faye and Tyr story. Also, I don't mean to bust a broken record, but maybe we could get some content about who blew the horn in 2018 perhaps. Wishful thinking, but my fingers are crossed. Thanks Jon, keep em coming!

Intriguing news!! I love the idea of prequels about Faye and Tyr, the reinterpretation of unpublished content (Sinmara, the Brothers of Odin and other concepts! Hopefully, given the multiple unknowns, they give us a slight entry into the culture that will be focused on in the next installment !! What a thrill!!

Well, i think both are good ideas as faye and tyr, but we need our answers how tyr travelling between the realms, wil sindri ever forgive atreus and Who blew the horn.

Jon, if you see the stream that Snitch did, he says that the ending is indicative of the dlc. So we will be playing with Atreus, and Tyr will be helping him and Angrboda.

And don’t forget brok mentioned he was gonna tell kratos how the axe became and how it was made all together before he died so what if they show us instead of telling us how It was made

What if the god of war Ragnarok dlc is based on Faye and we get to see Faye's journey while the first and second games are going on from Faye's point of view. Deborah ann woll did a awesome job as Faye.

I got an idea that this is how we might get to unlock Mjolnir for Kratos, and the DLC will have us play as Thor when he met and fought Faye in his drunken state, imagine if the hammer will also have some new Runic Attacks and Finishers to use on enemies which would be awesome! I was kinda wondering why they hyped up Mjolnir in the 2018 GoW game with Mimir telling tales of Thor, and showing his weapon at the end for GoWR when it didn't really play a part in the next game, except going to Thrud in the end, and others believed Kratos was going to be worthy to wield it. Also he IS the son of a thunder god and he did used to have lightning attacks back in the old games. lol

I feel like what they could do is have him go through Egypt and get more insight from faye this way we could kind of see Egypt and how Kratos got there like in the comics

Check this out In gow ragnarok if you choose to do the quest of freeing the creature in alfheim's desert with atreus mimir says “ great GEFJON'S GHOST” gefjon is a goddess but not a GHOST and in a real poem odin says to loki that she knows the fate of every man even him self And mimir says that the voice told odin to get the mask across the seas and he got it from the silent matron herself Witch gefjon was a matron but ghost is something unique to her in the game so may be a goddess that is a great ghost = ATHENA In wiki “Gefjon glosses the goddesses Athena and Vesta” Maybe I’m wrong but her being described as “great ghost” is weirdly specific.

Eagerly waiting for the dlc! I feel this could be extension of ragnarok after atreus leaves, could be also small added god boss fights like with vidar,taking revenge for Odin.

Indeed Faye dlc is also what I prefer, it’s can show us more norse gods that we didn’t get in ragnarok

I would like a two part dlc where one focuses on Faye pre-GOW and Atreus post-GOWR. That way we can close the story on the Norse mythology part and go straight to Egypt or wherever else in the next game

Hopefully we get a better final Thor boss fight because that 2nd fight was a disappointment

What i would want to see, which is realisticly is Kratos´ journey to agyptian gods or where ever he goes next, a good reason for that is, that they said that ragnarok woul be the last god of war game in the norse mythologie so if they make a DLC at all then i want the journey to the next mythlogie

Also they can add boss fights with god's we only heard of, the axe mechanics are ready, and cmon Kratos for the end will be amazing. Imagine time jump at the end showing them living together, Faye holding Atreus as a baby and Kratos making the two knifes like he made the flude for Caliope in Chains of olimpus🫠

If there is dlc, i rly dont think we gonna play any1 but kratos, my guess is we are gonna get afterstory of ragnarok, where tyr and freya will be our companions and it will probably connect all dots with how kratos ends in next game.

I think if the make Tyr dlc, they should convince us he was a even more bloodier and gritty character than Greek Kratos, but with peaceful principles and discipline

There's never been DLC for this franchise since 2005 (excluding Ascension online). They've said time after time there won't be one.
