Hello, I will update this comment if/when Bungie fixes private matches & let's me do TARGET LOCK testing there. If I had to pick 1 gun on this list I'm most excited about by the way.. maybe Prophet? or Slammer? Prophet has high potential but Slammer is like 'oops all god rolls' the sword. Everyone will probably wind up going Relentless/BNS on that, but it has a lot of fun potential

The new sword is also one of the only swords that can stun the hardest champion to deal with cold steel against a over load is gonna be insane

Eagers edge on a vortex frame is certainly a decision of all time

It’s kinda wild how kinetic tremors is being slept on with 900 smgs. With the new health changes, it’s going to procc a lot more, helping secure kills. The Showrunner has it, and after brief usage, it has its use case. I’ll be farming for a similar roll on multimach when it comes out

Deconstruct on Tusk of the Boar could be very very good. Free ammo for hitting 3 adds with an instant reload sounds nuts

My personal roll for Taraxippos is Gutshot and Explosive payload. Yes, they do combo with each other and each body shot damage number is increased by gutshot, and it's fun as hell.

The Prophet loads individual rounds like a shotgun, so kill clip is actually scary good, as you can just load a single round and proc it.

Bungie really brought out the big guns with this update. Feels like an entire new season just dropped.

First hullabaloo I got, dropped with voltshot chain reaction 🙌

I got a subsistence, onslaught adjudicator and can say it is easily my new favorite PvE SMG

I kept a hullabaloo with voltshot and collective action to abuse spark of ions (defeating a jolted target spawns an ionic trace)

Prosecutor with rewind rounds, target lock, and origin trait will allow you to stay in the bonus damage range of both perks for a very long time.

I really like a wellspring incandescent roll for darkest before in PvE, people sleep on wellspring but it just fits so well into literally any build at all, always topping off ability recharges depending on whats on cooldown

Attrition orbs is insane on smgs, and bungie actually put it in the third column on the title. Insane, give it a try with a damage perk!

For Hullabaloo, im kinda interested in the Voltshot / One For All roll for that buffed heavy jolt DoT damage to pair with Chaos Reach / Coldheart. Not meta, but kinda interesting.

Target Lock specifically on the prophecy smg is good because it stacks with the origin trait.

Zen moment, kill clip with the taraxpo (idk) is amazing. Kill clip makes it a 3 tap headshot.

Got the Destabilize/Repulser Title and I haven’t gotten a chance to use it but as soon as I saw those that’s I KNEW I had to masterwork it. Plus Envious/Cascade Hullabaloo is STUPID fun. Rack up some kills and just DUMP like 10-12 shots onto a grounded boss.

Envious Cascade was my first Hullabaloo roll. It is fun to use. Really easy to set up with an smg or fast firing AR. We dont really have an ideal, tailor made perk for single target damage on a wave DGL, but Cascade is fun here for sure

My very first Sudden Death that dropped had range in all spots except for masterwork

Three of my favorite things in this world are Special GLs, Auto Rifles, and Kinetic Tremors and now I feel blessed, I have so much to farm ❤ Abjudicator with Perp Motion/KT, Multimach with Attrition Orbs/KT, Wild Style with something/Incan, Prosecuter with Dragonfly/Voltshot, and the IB GL with something/Chain Reaction!

For the wild style, I think it was mostly looked forward to because the double shot frames are good for dps loadouts because of extra damage, but without any auto loading perks I don’t think there’s much use for it

The Title feels great on Void Hunter with Gyrfalcon. Also: since GH gives free volatile, you can get away with skipping Destabilizing rounds and do surrounded instead.

Taraxippos also sounds nice with explosive payload and gutshot

I love dynamic sway and onslaught on the smg

I got Subsistence/KineticTremors on the Adjuticator and Dragonfly/Voltshot on the Prosector. Both in 1 run. So that was nice. And the Adjuticator feels so damn good.

Hullabaloo field prep for the faster reload when crouched and vorpal for better dps on bosses paired with boss spec obviously is what I wanna go for

The wave frame strand nade launcher is gunna synergize so well in lots of builds

I love incan and envious on the wild style it's a decent perk combo

Target locked with that new origin trait on the Prophecy Auto will probably make it feel like pre nerf Target Locked

Taraxipos with gutshot/explosive rounds is super good as it is just constant damage since GSS buffs the explosive damage even when hitting crits. Used it in GM’s when scouts are in the artifact and I really enjoyed the constant extra damage and range.

first the title drop i got was ricochet, repulsor and destabilizing. Very tempted to do a void build just for it

On the Summoner I’m actually going to be going for a Heal Clip + Onslaught roll, because Onslaught gives you a reload modifier based on the number of stacks of the perk you currently have.

I was looking forward to getting the Title with Repulsor and Destabilizing. I got it yesterday and it's been great so far.

That headstone on judgement is gonna be crazy I need it

Oh man, I have a slideways kinetic grenade launcher from season of the splicer, and I still use it to this day. A strand wave launcher to go boom? I'm freaking here for it.

I think an underated pve roll for multi is for sure gonna be attrition orbs and kinetic tremors, attrition is really an alright perk if you lean into the orb collection and with tremors it will activate much more often so the orb generation may be quite nuts

I got a Relentless with Slice and Headseeker that I was using with my Strand clones build that felt really good

The prophet with precision instrument is kind of fun

Chain reaction, colt steel could be awsome dependent on interactions

Hullabaloo woth grave robber and 1 for all or even golden tricorn on a punchy arc hunter is actually really fun

15:00 Salty that my hidden golden goose is about to be exposed but glad that I'll soon be able to replace it with an adept version. I have a Dynamic Sway + Golden Tricorn Summoner that I've been cooking the crucible with for a long time with my Athrys's Embrace build. I actually love it even more with the new pvp changes.

personally im grinding the hell out of anything with cascade point, so the taraxippos and prosecutor are looking spicy to me, pair with either handling mods and transversives on solar or ophidians on void blink and ill be a happy boy

Man, i really got a god roll The Title by per chance through getting platinum rewards in crucible. It came with a masterworked range buff so thats neat. As far as the perks its extended barrel, flared magwell, repulsor brace, destabilizing rounds with a classy contender origin trait

Im hyped for the sword with bns and the strakd wave frame

Heal clip + incandescent summoner for ember of benevolence pve synergy

Judgment with headstone and timed payload is crazy good

Worth mentioning that the prophet 2 taps up to 8 resil with kill clip and both kill clip and radiant 2 tap anything

I have a repulsor brace and destabilizing rounds roll and it is truly a beautiful pve weapon

i got a cascade point envious assassin roll on the hullabaloo and it's pretty fun

I personally went headstone timed payload for a pve judgement, a little stasis fatebringer, and my old kinetic judgement is moving target opening shot so I got a couple good rolls

My personal goal has gotta be a prophet with headstone demo for pve. I love my stasis build but I can never find the perfect weapon to go with it. Since no hand cannons roll will headstone and demo in different columns(fingers crossed for something new to get it when solstice rolls around) I think the 120 scout hipfire archetype that is aggressive frames will fit the playstyle perfectly. Especially with the reload aspect of demolitionist pairing perfectly with the slower reload style of the prophet.

One thing I'll mention for PvP is that the Title has Hakke Breach Armaments and Deconstruct, giving it absolutely crazy damage against things like barricades, Wells, and Ward of Dawn. It's not quite a fully unique combo, it comes on Belisarius-D and Stay Frosty as well, but Belisarius-D doesn't really blast through them the same way an SMG does, and Stay Frosty is kinetic.

I got the volt shot, chain reaction Hola it only works if you have full ammo to reload form and it have a big ammo count so there are limits to volt shot

I managed to get a strand god roll for relentless. Slice and hatchling. Slaps with swarmers and a few aspects

As soon as I saw the summoner's perk pool Subsistence and Onslaught or Rampage might be my thing for PvE, my only reason to ever play trials. Slammer with Eager Edge and Bait and Switch for crota sounds good too

The relentless I got is completely nasty with rapid hit and head seeker

I’m gonna keep grinding for an onslaught roll, but Dynamic sway / target lock adjudicator kinda slaps in pvp.

But I cannot help but desire one with Hatchling as well. I just want to create an army of little green bug-rats. You know... for science... Yes... SCIENCE!! I got a roll of Relentless yesterday with Slice and Headseeker. My best mag option on it is Ricochet Rounds, which is fine but it feels slow to reload. However, I took it into both GG Supremacy, AND four back-to-back games of Comp (both on my Solar Hunter). Let me tell you, with Radiant Dodge triggering Slice, combining with Headseeker for some extra oomph... This thing catches people off guard. I don't know if I like it more than my Zen/Kill Clip Horror's Least... But it was absolutely fun to use, and I highly recommend at least trying out the perk combo

I got that prophecy auto with dragonfly voltshotnand oh myyy. Zen targetlock for PvP too rng blessed me

I got repulser brace destabilizing rounds on my first the title drop. Gonna have to try it on my hunter. I do love my funnelweb though.

Darkest Before : Clips combo or Maybe Subs/Incandescent Wild Style : Envious / Incandescent? Big maybe. Slammer : Pugi/Demo, Relentless/CS (though I do like my Zephyr) or Eager / CS? (Does that mean that we can skate with Slammer now?) Summoner : ahahaha... Nope. Could be interesting. But Trials. So hard nope. Prophet : Hard nope 2 : Trial boogaloo. Tusk : ???/Reaction Multimach : Not interested.

Rewind Frenzy on the Prosecutor is so fun. Feels great plus as its the only one that can roll rewind, its the only one that can utilize the bottom half bonus damage the most, even if the bump is small. You missed some pretty interesting combos. Judgment can get Headstone and Times Payload which may allow self crystal procs. The strand wave frame can get Deconstruct. If this gives you thin air each shot, thats an infinite ammo slice applying wave frame monster.

Adjudicator with onslaught and threat detector feels kinda dirty when both perks engage.

i havent played d2 in a while, but my Zen moment box breathing taraxippos has some wear and tear man that thing is hilarious and its not going anywhere ever

Now that Deconstruct is bugfixed, I'm aiming at The Title with Deconstruct to stack with the Hakke origin trait and pressure Titans behind their barricades. Unfortunately Attrition Orbs doesn't stack on barricades, so that column is ideally just gonna be DSR I think. Collective Action is also a pretty reasonable play, it's a TTK shift pretty similar to Target Lock on net (8c1b 0.67s) and if you're a Stasis titan or similar it should be easy to proc. If you want sold on Taraxippos, go watch Legoleflash's updated review, he loves that gun. Hullabaloo is only slightly worse than an adaptive frame heavy GL with the same damage perk, which in this case probably means Cascade Point for boss purposes. I don't think it's worth searching out when Regnant (craftable!), Wendigo, and Cataphract already all do that, but it's there. The real purpose IMO is Voltshot+Chain Reaction, but not in the way you might think--rather than trying to reload all the time and use Voltshot, you're just trying to save that perk for stunning overloads. Otherwise you'll spend a ton of time reloading that you just don't have to. Other than that, just take ALH and don't think about it too hard. For The Slammer, just take Eager Edge/Cold Steel IMO, although I bet Bait and Switch might be fun alongside double shotguns or something similar. I'm imagining Banner of War titan hitting two 12P shots, rocking the BnS sword into Crota for ten seconds, then doing it again (as they've probably got a second powered melee charge by this point). As good as Navigator grapple spam, no, but hey. I think Stronghold enthusiasts will love having an anti-overload option that isn't Zephyr and has lunge speed.

Chablo did a dmg test to grasp boss on YT with the arc wave frame and it did like 2.4 mil dmg it did like 2/3 of his health in one phase

I think target lock could actually be great on the multimach since its a magazine based perk. Since it’s a 900rpm with low damage per bullet, you could probably proc target lock pretty fast

Dont forget that the "Tex Mechanica" origin trait progresses twice as fast with explosive payload perks.

Personally, I would love a multimach roll with underover and kinetik tremors. Not enough to aktively chase it, but if it dorops I for sure won't dismantle it. Yes, Kinetik tremors activates at 14 hits, outside what should be optimal ttk, but that roll should be the perfect primary weapon counter to overshields, woven mail and barricades (last one assuming kinetik can proc on them, never tested it).

Voltshot chain reaction is the roll to get, but the more I think about it, the less useful voltshot seems to be. Am I really gonna be planning to reload this thing? Honestly auto loading on the left might work better
