My problem is discerning the difference between the impressions from God and my own imagination. At times I can clear my mind and I know He sends the next idea. Other times it is difficult to separate.

The last story reminds me of the fireside given by one of the men from the "17 points of the true church" (found on youtube under the same name) he was at Normandy and there were 2 pecular guys whom he followed. One was "cut in half by machine gun fire" and his companion gave him a priesthood blessing right there on the beach. He said he saw him days later, not a scratch.

I recommend to you the book by Brother Babbel titled To Him that Believeth which has some great miraculous stories from WWII.

Thanks for the stories. Yes, I love that first story. Familiar with all of them. President Toronto died in the late 1960’s. I read a book about him and your second story.
