thanks mate 😀 .. yeah its really easy to customize stuff using Parameters.. i also created parameters for the Textures as well.. 🔥 the 3 fires at the end of the video are using 3 different textures..

thanks mate :D .. yeah, that's the reason why i decided to start this tutorial series.. Already had good experience creating VFX in Unreal and Unity.. So, i'm adapting all my knowledge to Godot.. Its a quite challenging, but its really funny..

@@CodingQuests sure man :D thanks... in the future, i would like to do a Dash effect.. similar to the 2D Dash you did in your " Beginner RPG Course".. but would like to do it 3D + adding some distortion effect 😋.. so, I would like to hear your opinion on it... in the future.. for now i need to do a VFX for weapons.. and trails tutorials because many people is asking me to do those.. lol

I'm new to Godot, what parameters do you configure in the World Environment besides enabling glow?

oh.. i usually create a new WorldEnvironment with .. Clear Color + Energy Multiplier of 0.5 ... +GLOW ( Screen mode) .... +FOG ( Energy 0.5 )

How do you get this to emit light? It does not seem to behave like that in my project.

make sure to enable +Glow in your environment node settings..

@@Butanoshi wait.. you meant the reflection on the floor ? .. oh I added a simple light inside the fire.. and used the animator to make the light flickering.. i thought you were talking about the glow itself..

@@Le_x_Lu I dont think so. I meant the glow/bloom effect you have around the fire without the environment. I just have the flame without any glow. @@Le_x_Lu Yes I was talking about the glow itself. Does not glow in my viewort. or the editor. Tried attaching some screenshots here but it seems its deleting those comments altogether. Anyway the tutorial is great. I think I have something wrong within my project setup :/
