Love Godox for what they have done, on that note the main issue(s) are if you're using non Godox strobes you can not control the lights even with the firmware updates. All you have is a trigger it's looking like Yongnuo is the only flash controller that will work with your mix of light.

So I have all of this set up both the trigger and ad200 are in HSS and on my sony a6500 I cant seem to shoot above 200 without half the image black.. any ideas?

I have been using mine for over a year and all the sudden it will jump out of HSS when I'm using it and sometimes it will not go back and I have to switch flashes. Do you have any idea what is going on. I can continue to use flash if I don't use HSS which I hate. I have also noticed this happens more often when I'm using multiple flashes.

my canon 6d allows me to turn on high speed sync in the menu for other flashes but with this trigger attached it says incompatible for some reason

i'm struggling to do the HSS. once i go beyond 1/250 i start to see the black bars on my NIkon D850. I turned the Auto FP mode too. Thank you.

I am assuming you're working with Godox speedlights and Godox X Pro trigger. If that's the case, you've to first turn on HSS on the speedlight while it is mounted on the hot-shoe on the camera, and then turn on the HSS by pressing the sync' button on the X-Pro trigger. It does not matter at what stage you choose 1/250FP on D850 before taking the shot. I hope it helps.

How does this trigger work when the tripod is higher than eye level view? Does the screen adjust angles? Specially in a rig cage, really cant use this, or anything above eye level.

The screen is fixed, there's no way to bend it back or twist it to adjust and see the display, so you won't be able to see it. It would be great if they would develop an app, like they did for the A1, to control it via mobile or iPad or something!

My problem was getting the HSS turned on in the X-Pro, I just couldn't figure it out. I've been using the strobe for months without HSS and normally all I do is flick between the groups and adjust power settings. I've now discovered that pressing the SET button brings up the options (of which HSS is one) so you can switch it on, never used that before! I've also found that I don't need to switch HSS on at the strobe (AD600), the X-Pro automatically transmits that to the strobe and the HSS symbol shows up after the shutter is released.

Thank you, no need for a longer explanation. Cut through the chaff and tell us what we have been searching through umpteen videos for. We don’t need videos of you shooting your favorite model without telling us how you set up your camera and flash for HSS. Good video.

You don't need to set you'r strobes to HSS; When you turn that on on the trigger it automatic put's all connected strobes to HSS right at the first flash.

Can anyone help me please... i have canon 80d and 6d when i put the godox xpro and use the live view mode, everytime i half press the shutter button and try to adjust my exposure the live view is stuck, it not change in the live view. Exposure simulation on live view dont work properly, anyone know how to solve it? Thank you

The Nikon flash? You would have to fire in slave mode. I’m a Canon shooter, so not directly familiar with that flash, but it should work is slave mode. Once you get used to the pricing in Godox flashes, Nikon speedlights will be a thing of your distant past!! :)

Love this XPro, but: Contrary to expectation you cannot create groups with other brand studio-flashes via X1R. Even if a group is OFF it will fire.

If you have a Godox flash, you can set the Nikons to be optically triggered, and they will fire in conjunction with the Godox light. It wont fire a Nikon flash directly, however.

Leigh Photography Flashpoint is a brand version of Godox lighting (sold by Adorama). Godox lights will be synced automatically. You could fire other flashes off of slave mode, if your trying to mix non-Godox with Godox, but it’s easiest just to work with Godox lighting across your whole setup.

Well it seems that you did not use 1/320 of speed and ttl at the same time, because there is a big Big issue that godox, for what I know, dit not resolve yet, with my old 5d2 and this trigger everything in ttl and hss works well, with cankn r5 nothing works. Thers a bug. I though this video could explain me a solution.. Instead not.
