God speed is artificial speedster, all of them are, they use a velocity X like thing to create speedster powers, so they don't have dark matter in them which is what the prison stops, infact the cells have to be specified to the specific dark matter of the power, and that one was supposed to imprison natural speedsters, so godspeed could escape whenever he wanted.

If this show was done in moderation where Barry wins some then loses some then it would show growth and realism but instead……….. they give us the flash getting beat and needing friends, family, and love to defeat the big bad. Yeah, like when Barry was punching Godspeed in Flash time, the hits barely did any damage showing how weak Barry actually is. Kinda sad. He's gotta learn self defense. Without other Speedsters assisting in the fight Godspeed would massacre Barry.

@@darkwitch8648 either way he is as fast as the speed of light so any punch he releases can be extremely powerful with enough momentum, and the reason his hits LOOKED like they didnt do much damage is because godspeed is also a speedster so he can be able to take those hits as much as barry can. barry is much stronger then u think

@@susofernandez8519 the full quote makes it fall apart, adding the “when he’s ready” makes it clear that seconds later was when he was ready, taking it out and then adding “literally seconds after” makes it feel like it was implied he wouldn’t talk for a long ass time or ever and that they went back on their word and that him talking now makes no sense

@@carsenmaxwell3336 Realistically, Barry IS the fastest, only being outranked by a few (Zoom, Reverse Flash, Godspeed, some others), but he always gets faster than them. In the comics they actually have good reasons as to why they're faster. Here, it's just because, with no reasoning. After having defeated them all, Barry winds up being THE fastest, no questions. (Well, except for Wally West...)

Starting from Season 4 every episode is the same shit, they beat every villain with the power of love, I don’t think there’s been more the 2 actual fight scenes in the past 4 seasons. I don't think he actually phased through the roof because to get to the roof he would have to make a good jump. I'm thinking that because this is one of the clones and not the real Godspeed, he is able to travel through lightning and essentially teleport.

The godspeeds are all as fast if not faster than Barry because they are just staying in the speed force and using that speed zapping ability to absorb it, there pests like Deon said " there like damn roaches ", they are essentially mega charged speedsters, so Barry is having a hard time keeping up, plus there are a bunch of them, the fact Barry can keep up at all says more for how fast he is than how slow he is.

Wally isn’t faster in the show. He’s just more in tune spiritually. Barry is the fastest speedster in the show matched with Thawne as the two speed forces are connected or some crap. Once Barry gets faster so does thawne. The only reason Barry “lost” this is cause they need drama and a plot line. If he was to take down all the villains quickly the show would be uber boring. Also don’t get it twisted thinking Godspeed is faster cause he isn’t. He uses a speed drug to give him a boost. Watch how much faster Barry is if Godspeed doesn’t do that.

it's not a real thing on this new suit anymore, the hat is virtual. I mean, you clearly see him in the suit without a hat hanging on the back like others old suit right, and you have never seen he put his hat on (by hand) as well

A couple minutes later Chester explained the Godspeeds are fueled by a velocity formula a chemical speed force substitute which means he’s an artificial meta and the dampeners couldn’t do anything to remove his speed

Okay I don’t get it if an Enemy is so dangerous that they are a huge threats left just alive then why not kill them like for real after the third arrest or capture I feel it would be a just sentence cause prison wouldn’t work so it’s better off to kill then to spare if the threat it more then enough you you’ve gone down the hero route

That's what is dangerous about Flash villians honestly... Speedsters dont really have a kryptonite, so it's hard to subdue. I mean Barry has killed thawne in the comics to save his wife. The flash didn't even get sentenced for it. I know Barry doesn't want to take the Oliver route (thisis based on my previous CW knowlege as i havent watched this season), but it's times like these i honestly don't see another way. Actually... if Barry learns how to drain Speed.... then sure.

So it was Diggle who introduced the term, "leveled up." to the team...hence why Cecile said that to Barry before he went to deal with Royal Flush and why Caitlin said it in Jitters after Barry saved the people on the trains.

Why the hell are like 80% of the Flash's main villains speedsters, many of which take away his power. Like... I haven't watched since around season 4, but the fastest man alive can actually be the fastest man alive you know. One of the coolest episodes I remember was the episode where if I remember right, a nuclear explosion had just gone off and Barry had to pull out all the stops while constantly in the Speedforce to take care of it. Now that, is cool as all hell. Not "I'm faster" "Haha, no me" *Steals powers and runs away* If they really wanted to keep me hooked.... make him go faster.... and then faster... and then faster. By season 1, have him break the sound barrier. By season 4, the speed of lightning. By season 7, approaching the speed of light. Have some consistency. Now it seems like, one episode he can travel and take somebody around the entire globe in about a 7 second window... yet it takes like 30 seconds to travel across one city. Though again, haven't watched in like 2-3 seasons... I just hate seeing the inconsistencies get more and more out of hand.

The one thing that forced me away from this show that I once loved, is the SERIOUS inconsistencies with Barry's speed. After seven seasons it looks like they still haven't learned their lesson, glad I stopped after season 4.
