IT'S GODZILLA HE'LL SAVE US Even as a kid that was such a bizarre line to me. Still I love this damn show.

One thing that they did right with this Godzilla. He wasn't too familiar with humans. He always seemed to be willing to save people but never happy about it. When he came out of the water, it was always like "What now!?" They never turned him into a giant prehistoric Lassie (that was Godzuli's roll).

Keep 'em coming, Toho! And maybe a DVD/blu ray set, someday!

I watched this show when it came out on TV and the eartheater kinda scared me when I watched it first but now that I'm older I think he's just Hella cool

I love how even though the bridge is about to collapse, absolutely no one tries to escape by driving on the _other side_ of the road where there are _zero cars._ “We may be about to die horribly, but we certainly shouldn’t break any traffic laws!” 😆 Even when i watched these as a kid that bothered me.

I think this was the first episode of the series I saw as a 4-year-old. I definitely remember the Earth Eater munching at the opening. It actually scared me into running behind the TV set. If I couldn't see him, he couldn't see me. LoL

So yeah, Godzooky is the Scrappy-Doo of the series, but it was kind of cute the way he tried to help Godzilla carry the bridge. And at least he’s able to protect Pete when the ground caved in and can call Godzilla if the g-signal gets busted. I guess it goes to show that having a miniature Godzilla around pays off.

This is the episode I remember seeing the most on TV, and probably was my first I saw of this series.

This is when I love Godzilla. When he’s a protector and not an evil mindless city destroyer.

Haven't seen this in YEARS! Used to be a mainstay of BBC Children's programmes, alongside Scooby Doo, Where Are You? Thanks for posting. Frankly best non-Toho Godzilla, ever!

If anyone is seeing this comment, here’s what I have to say. I heard that all 26 episodes of this Hanna Barbara version of Godzilla was featured. But I think it has yet to be released on a complete DVD set in America like these other Hanna Barbara shows I like & that I have & are planning to add to my collection. Jonny Quest, Dino boy in the Lost Valley, Mighty Mightor, Valley of The Dinosaurs, Jabberjaw, Snorks, “Most Scooby Doo shows”, Shirt Tales, The New Adventures of Jonny Quest, Dink the little Dinosaur & The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest. “Not to mention The Powerpuff Girls that was done by Hanna Barbara now & then 1 time.” But the Hanna Barbara version of GODZILLA featuring all 26 ground breaking episodes has yet to be released on a complete DVD set in the Hanna Barbara Collection like one of the other shows.

Just watching this episode it was so funny that we wouldn't see the big guy visit San Francisco again till 2014 and he makes an almost identical appearance near the Golden Gate Bridge in the exact same way too the only differences is that unlike the Monsterverse film in this episode the people on the Golden Gate are actually happy to see the King of the Monsters coming towards them to help.

We need this as a DVD set Toho
