I always remember thinking there would be a Godzilla 2 because of that last egg surviving at the end. I was so disappointed that it never happened.

It got a lot of hate because thus isn’t what “Godzilla” is. Literally they hated it purely because it was labeled as Godzilla when it’s completely different from what Godzilla is supposed to be. Caught a lot of shit for being labeled a Godzilla film. Now it’s been changed to “zilla” a completely different titan and there’s an animated show about him now. If they labeled it as it’s on titan in the beginning it would’ve gotten a new movie because as far as a big monster movie goes this is one of the best.

Can you imagine another Japanese director making a completely different film, but naming it Superman, Spider-Man, or Batman, and ruining these classics, and then claiming not to care about the original source material? It's almost like that, and it's nauseating.

The problem is how could ALL of those eggs fit inside Godzilla??? There are more than 200 eggs, and each one is bigger than a human. How could ALL 200 eggs fit inside Godzilla??? The only way that could happen is if each egg was the size of a ping pong ball.

It is really good I think, many people didn't like it because it wasn't the "real" or traditional Godzilla everyone knows. But if you look at it as just a monster movie/action movie it's great 👍

Technically, he was invasive species that could cause environmental damages. If more of them breed in the same number with mathematical accuracy and precision, they would spawn millions or worse billions making unsustainable in the long run.
