Godzilla and Gigan fight in San Jose. Godzilla is filled with hatred and a desire for revenge for his older brother Filius. However, Gigan decides to escape, wanting to gather more power. Meanwhile, in India, the Alpha of the "Mosura" species, Mothra, wakes up from hibernation. She rushes to help Godzilla because she knows that if Gigan gains more power, Godzilla may die in battle and if that happens, the world will be doomed
