One of my favorite wake up songs in the morning when I was 23. I had my alarm clock hooked up to my turn table. The alarm would kick it whereby the turntable would play Goin Down by Jeff Beck. In the Attic bedroom I would jump up & down off the bed & sing this at the top of my lungs. Ha...my parents were at the shore house & the world was mine! Ah, the life of an aspiring musician. My band would show up after I wrote all day & the house would shake, rattle & roll till 12:00am. Always started with this song. Tks for a fine rendition!

Anyone that plays guitar knows that you cannot compare one to the other and claim this one or that one is better. They are all great!!! Each in their own way.

Actually the guy that the piano player used to play with is the greatest of all time. You had to have seen Stevie live, I did eight times, should have been many more.

No just too much noise for him, he's more of an acoustic guy... but he can shred but left that to his brother Phil(RIP) mostly. Too bad we couldn't hear what he was playing. Perhaps why he was just standing for most of the song.

Best ever version of 'Going Down', was by a Canadian musician, by the name of Pat Savage.... He killed it and can be found on his first cd, 'Wild World'!

Nice ! Us old guys remember Freddie King's 'Getting Ready'. Bad ass dude with a great opening trak. We all wanted to cover it. Finally did SRV boxset style. I went first.

They are all great. I especially liked Walter’s solo in this one, what tone! Was that Keb Mo? And I think I saw Josh Smith but he didn’t solo.
