Awesome video, I'd say one of your best from a historical standpoint!! I've always wanted to go to Tommaso's for the history! Sad that many of the "newer" people in that area walk right past there everyday completely oblivious to the legendary status of the restaurant and surrounding area!

Tomasso's is great. They used to have fresh killed baby chicken on the menu. And the Owner would walk around singing.

@@djquinn11 I remember reading "fresh killed baby chicken". I had something else. Years later I went back and it was not on the menu. I asked the Waiter and he said it was no longer served. I always wonder if they brought out a live chicken on a cart and whacked it in front of you Bensonhurt Style.

We just had a gathering on 86st on June 1st. Every time i go back to DH, (usually for Tomassos) it sickens me to see what its become. My friend did pick up his Regal, the day a Buick went 💣

I've never been to YN and likely never will, but if you put me in a car, I could drive you from Castellano House to Spark Steakhouse, then to Tails, Gamini Lounge, Wimpy Boys, and beyond without ever needing to look at Google Maps! I absolutely love these videos. They truly capture the essence of the streets, the atmosphere-they bring any story to life with vibrant color and rich detail. Greetings from Serbia!

Brett all I can say is awesome!!! Some of your best work , I've always wanted to go to tomassos just for the nostalgia and history and I knew you'd touch on veterans and friends. Just so much history with those locations and I can't even imagine the vibes you were feeling. I'm curious how much that location has changed since the late 70s or if it's still the same as it was. Another excellent video my friend. Ninno Gaggi was also there and one of the Vesties later wrote how Ninno told them about the food in the restaurant and how good some meals are. It makes perfect sense since this at the time when Ninno Gaggi was so close to Big Paul. Keep up the good work my friend and we love the content!!!

Obviously we have Lolly ice van’s same as you over the pond but ours always turn into the street playing something coherent like, Edward Elgar, Blake or something similar that everyone who’s British can at least hum the next bar to if not name and sing the lyrics too but I notice that you often don’t have any Vans that play anything known…. To add in agreement to all of above, you can see proof of such indirectly during Brett’s walk. Some of homes have the impossibly neat lawns in front that aren’t bigger than a couple of area rugs, but rest are sh!t by comparison. I’ll let you guess which ones belong to who?
