I have an entire half sleeve on my arm with a massive whale bursting out of stellar space. I call him Joe. The amazing artist that did it even put the tail on my forearm so when I move my arm it looks like he's swimming

Aquariums should be mandated to play this song everyday.. Unless they have a problem with whales flying away.

"While many people do not associate heavy metal with the future of aerodynamics, it turns out that French heavy metal band Gojira were onto something in their song 'Flying Whales.' Humpback whales have bumps on the leading edge of their tails, which affects its aerodynamics."

I have always felt like this song has one of the most effective, and hardest hitting breakdowns ever written. It's not the most impressive, nor the most technical. It's relatively simple and straight forward, but it serves the purpose of a huge release after a long buildup better than any breakdown I've heard since. You can say what you will about breakdowns but when it's used right and hits hard, it's an incredibly cathartic feeling.

Now THAT is a breakdown of galactic proportions!
@WEEGEEV1RUS
I used to skip this song for the longest time because of the intro, and one time i had to hear it in its entirety, and man, biggest regret ever, i never skip this song again.
