I think you'd absolutely love Gojira - In the Wilderness, it's absolutely fucking disgustingly heavy, it's from the same album as Where Dragon's Dwell, with an epic long outro riff with sick drums. It also has a real Morbid Angel-esque part in the middle that's just filthy.

I saw them once so far - Soundwave Festival in Perth Australia in 2012. They brought Devin Townsend on stage to play with them the VERY FIRST EVER live performance of a song Gojira and Devin made. In the HOME of *Sea Shepherd* ..... I filmed this and uploaded it onto KZfaq in my channel! Shitty video at the rear but I had just sen HellYeah and was about to see Meshuggah! Additional info - - I saw a car driving up where ambulances usually drive in the festival, it drove right next to me, I saw Devin in the back seat!!!! I was walking towards the HellYeah/Gojira/Meshuggah tag team dual stage!

This song is so groovy and heavy at the same time. You’re right in saying that that they “kill every time” man. You got to see them live. I caught the end of their set back in 2014 I think. Unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to them and I regret it now. Either way they are a killer band who do not disappoint in any live performance. You should check out Indians (live at Vieilles Charrues) and Esoteric Surgery. Both those songs are crushing right from the start! 🤘

Took my son to see Gojira in June to an intimate little venue. We got there and were standing about 10 feet from the stage. It was an amazing night but I realized that I’m not in the shape I need to be for a 45 year old going to metal shows! Got my ass kicked in good and bad ways! 😂
