That's a nice looking vice! Really cool. Wish I could make things like that, but I don't have the tools you do, nor the time right now. I have a pretty good vice though, so I'm ok in that department. Love watching you build things.

Thanks. I just started using gas shielded welding. Before that I was using flux core wire.

Apparently you are a man of many talents! I myself would just go buy one, but an interesting project in and of itself, congratulations. On an unrelated issue, I'm assuming you live in Turkey. I live in Izmir and need a source for dimentional hardwoods, could you point me in the right direction? I found one place that had American kiln dried walnut but quoted me $4000 for 3 8ft boards. I almost fell over. Needless to say that was a hard pass. Interested in walnut, oak, maple etc.

With a Google search, I learned that there is a place called Bornova Keresteciler Sitesi in Izmir. I hope you can find the products you are looking for there. Also, I am ashamed to say this, but some goods and service providers in our country can charge foreigners more than normal. The situation you mentioned in your first message may be due to this.

Попробуй согнуть в этих тисках шину под прямым углом, после первого удара молотком губки, срезав болты отвалятся. Не предусмотрена замена гайки винта. А в остальном красиво но недостаточно продумано.

Çene ölçüleri 120 x 20 x 20 mm. Videoya eklemeyi unutmuşum. Kapakların ölçüsünü hatırlamıyorum ama iş o noktaya kadar yapıldıktan sonra oradan ölçüm alabilirsiniz. Kolay gelsin.

I built the machine according to Makita 2107fk standards and I used Makita brand blades. Makita says these blades can cut dry.

Тут нужно посчитать, что лучше: потратить немного металлолома, который валяется в углу мастерской, и немного своего времени, или тащиться в магазин, тратить и время, и деньги, на заводские тиски, которые и в России стоят не мало, а в Турции с их инфляцией в 40% и недавним землетрясением, вообще, небось, заоблачные деньги. И конечно, про покупку тисков в магазине никто видос на ютубе смотреть не будет :)
