Goku VS Superman is one of the most heated debated within the VS Battle Community. Since even before Death Battles controversial take on the matchup, people have been debating this topic back and forth and as time has progressed, the answer in my opinion became more and more clear. This video will not only be explaining why Goku VS Superman Isnt Close but why the matchup was never close to begin with. Mind you this video will be containing content from Dragon Ball , Dragon Ball Z , Dragon Ball Super , DC Comics, DC Movies , Shows , and etc. Ranging from analyzing their feats against the Z Fighters with people like Vegeta Gohan Piccolo and the Justice League through Batman Flash and Wonderwoman. Son Goku, born Kakarot, is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is the second born, as well as youngest son and child of Bardock and Gine, the husband of Chi-Chi, and the father of Gohan and Goten. Originally sent to Earth by his parents as an infant, Kakarot was adopted by Grandpa Gohan and renamed Son Goku. A head injury at an early age altered Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. Goku constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction multiple times. Dragon Ball is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. The initial manga, written and illustrated by Toriyama, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with the 519 individual chapters collected in 42 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha. Dragon Ball was originally inspired by the classical 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, combined with elements of Hong Kong martial arts films. Dragon Ball characters also use a variety of East Asian martial arts styles, including karate and Wing Chun. The series follows the adventures of protagonist Son Goku from his childhood through adulthood as he trains in martial arts. He spends his childhood far from civilization until he meets a teen girl named Bulma, who encourages him to join her quest in exploring the world in search of the seven orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Tim Drake trained Bart Allen in combat *(The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive (2006-2007) Vol 1 13)* and he even tagged Bart when he tried to push him into the water; making him one of the few Batfamily members to actually tag Speed Force users *(Young Justice (1998) Vol 1 Issue 11).*

10:50 correction, moving in a place where time doesn't exist is inaccessible, however, here Superman is moving above space, time and dimensionality as concepts, where a being with inaccessible speed still needs to travel a finite or infinite distance in 0 time, Superman doesn't, the concepts of time and distance are absolutely irrelevant to him meaning this is irrelevant speed, so Superman is much, much more impressive than one would realize

I’d argue Timothy drakes feat is better. Hits time leap was only 0.5 seconds faster, but Timothy was dealing with a whole 5 seconds, an eternity in a fight.

Also last time I'm going to mention this but xeno Goku powering up destroying the timelines wasn't actually correct you see they were on a station that was in control of the timelines and if he destroyed that then the timelines would be destroyed so no. Also we have to understand that death battle is progressively upgrading their ways of calculating things so sometimes death pedals in the past aren't going to be up to snuff with how they are now it's called being human

My question is... if these scalings are for Goku in base form then what happened to the multipliers when he transforms... if hes base level multiversal then that means Ssj 1 is that time 50, ssj2 x100, ssj3 x 400, and ssj4 x? I think because DC and Marvel are just very inconsistent ( which is not surprising judging by how many authors and how many years already passed).You have in one story flash moving faster when teleportation and another where he is challenged by mr freez.Or superman being so fast and strong and yet consistently loosing to batman ( including when superman is mind controlledand thereforenot holding back), despite sups should be able to move faster when batman thinks

1:00 I would like to address that specific complaint. For scaling, there are blackboxes on the side where they scale Goku to 5D an Superman to higher dimensional levels of power (higher than Goku). A lot of their juicy scaling and fight breakdowns can be found in second hand material such as their blogs, as opposed to the episode itself.

yeah, Ultraguy (researcher for Death Battle) did SEVERAL blogs on Goku vs Superman He even researched Legends and Dokkan Battle for Goku, no one does that His blog is very complete, it includes pretty much all DBZ media where Goku is in, and pretty much every single official comic that has Superman in it, the blogs even include separate sections for the calcs of each character, Ultraguy put his heart and soul into that blog

But Xeno Goku or CC Goku at best scale to Hyperversal to Low Outerversal at the very best while just using base Pre Crisis Superman alone gives him Outerversal to High Outerversal feats and scaling. I may be a fan but I'm also a much bigger fan of D.C. and not dense or ignorant. Rebirth Superman hard violates the Composite DB verses no effort, only fanfiction even comes close to ranking in the top 1,000 characters of D.C. Composite Superman is High Transfinite Outerversal. Milk-Man Man is Trans High Infinite Outerversal. Story Of Superman is Extraversal.

Another thing to add about Superman's skill, he also went to train under Wisoka, the former teacher of the Furies. Her skills are so great even Granny Goodness doesn't hold a candle (the current teacher of the Furies). Wisoka shackled 99% percent of Superman's strength and eventually he becomes a better fighter than her. So in terms of skill, Superman way outclasses Goku to the point Goku might as well be a novice.

I want to make something clear in terms of skill goku is above super man period.goku did not struggle with predicting hits time skip,if any thing what Goku did was more impressive than that of tim drake did,goku was not even sure how hit attacks work at the time. So thats all folks. No offense bro, don't compare fighting skill of super man to that of gokus, the skill gap increases when you factor ultra instinct which is arguably the pinnacle of martial arts.because you can react and adapt to your opponents fighting styles and combos

Darkseid is a being that resudes out if the multiverse and he exists in every universe via taking weaker forms of himself and scattering them in every universe. The impression that I have of DBZ fans is that, if they weren't comic book/cartoon geeks, they would be contact sports fans. They just want their hero to be the strongest, the fastest, the baddest, etc. DBZ fans don't actually care about the stats and facts of Superman Vs Goku. They just *want* Goku to win. This is why they keep pestering Death Battle/ScrewAttack for more and more rematches. ScrewAttack thinks that, if they just explain it well enough this time, that the DBZ fans will understand and accept the result. SA/Death Battle doesn't get it that the DBZ fans understand the stats, but they simply don't care. What they want is for Goku to beat Superman. They only care about the *result* .And until Goku gets that "W", they will keep bringing up BS to justify why yet another rematch is needed. This is true, but it is also true of a lot of comic fans. I think it has to do with being raised without a father. In school, you'd have your "my dad can beat your dad" arguments and then grow out of it. But because most DB fans (and a lot of comic fans) don't know their fathers, they never got it out of their systems, and so spend all day sending death threats to each other and saying "Dragon Ball is better fiction than Shakespeare because Hamlet can't blow up a planet." To be fair to comic fans, at least they usually stay in their lane. You have to go out of our way to find annoying comic fans, but if you like any other anime, the DB fans will find you.

For me it's more that superman is boring, most of the time he doesn't struggle unless they come up with some cracked insane storyline like the worldforger stuff. Gokus at least a bit more relatable and more fun to watch. "Perfect" characters like superman are very annoying and boring. I don't think it's really a desire for goku to win, the most acclaimed Dragon Ball stories are where Goku loses. It's the opposite. We want to see superman bite the curb SO BAD and Goku seems like he's the closest to the man of steel.

Scale the characters however you want them, i legit believe your scaling is 1,000 x better than deathbattle's. And i actually like it. Dont necessarily agree with it, but its generally fair. _____ Misinformation: True form darkseid final crisis vs superman: Did superman beat true form darkseid? Yes, but did he have a lot of help? Yes. During that fight darkseid was beaten by Orion and nearly died. Batman then preceeds to kill darkseid again. Then the flash and death racer beat darkseid again. And after all of that superman still had to create 2 miracle machines, which is basically DC's infinity gauntlet to beat true form darkseid. So superman does not scale to true form darkseid, not in that fight. World forger: Again you leave out context. Its been stated multiple times that world forger is weaker when he is on the 3D planes. World forger already beat superman while weakened. So he already cant scale to him. The only way superman was able to get a hit off of a weakened world forger was when he wasnt fighting and caught off guard. Superman also had to have batman's help to fly through a galaxy's worth of suns just to get off a cheap shot. And you may be asking he was still able to damage a 6D being and destroy a multiverse wasnt he? Well no actually. The world forger describes his power as being able to create a universe with each strike of his hammer while in his weakened state. And as for his mutliverse he created? Intelligence can be defined in many different ways. But in terms of pattern recognition and solving crimes as well as making and creating technology batman and lex have always been smarter. Superman may be able to store more information and remember more information clearly, like a computer, but batman and lex are more creative and intuitive, if that makes sense. He's called the greatest detective for a reason.

I grew up with Superman and watched the Christopher Reaves version as a kid. The animated versions of Superman do not do Superman justice. So when DBZ first showed the speed feats for animation made Goku appear faster and stronger. Thanks for explaining DC cosmology so I get why Superman beats Goku. 90% of the time. For Superman to approach the Source Wal means he blitzes immeasurable speed while Goku has just reached immeasurable speeds. By he way, Tim drake was predicting when his opponent would appear(an intelligence feat) Goku at first did this with Hit, but later was going fast enough to out speed hit despite the time skip ability or destroyed the Hit's Time skip dimension with his strength without moving depending on if you're watching/reading the Anime/Manga.

This proves Superman was less exposed to solar radiation than the Last Son because he was neither corrupted or had the appearance that the Last Son had. Finally, The Last Son was killed in Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 by being thrown into a black hole by Lex Luthor. There was a moment in Justice League #23 (2018) where Superman destroyed a planet of unknown size by leaping away from it, but based on the above, it is reasonable to assume that the planet is smaller than earth. All this would be enough proof to suggest that Superman’s punch to the World Forger is possibly not even earth planet level. A lot of people have misinterpreted Superman’s feats. All the points above were cited so that people can verify for themselves. Also, Superman did not destroy the multiverse if anyone mentions. Andrew Marino (the DC Editor) confirmed this. And the 5th and 6th dimensions were not spatial dimensions. It is mentioned in Imaginary Axis’s video with Scott Snyder (the writer) at 28:27 of his video (sorry, can’t post links).

@@faith4657 Hi. I would believe Rebirth/Infinite Frontier Superman to be Planet to Solar System level, if I am being generous, based on my first post. Interestingly, Brian Bendis, who did his run of Rebirth Superman was asked if Superman can destroy a planet, his answer was 'Nope!' A lot of Superman's feats are never direct but through assumptions and inference, such as the above with World Forger who can create the multiverse and reside in the 6th Dimension, so people believe that when Superman struck him, this would also make Superman 6th Dimensional, even though World Forger doesn't really have any durability feats. The only direct showing Superman made during this story was when he had to gather some of the strongest members of DC villains to help him destroy Earth, which seems about right. Lots of Superman's other feats are also taken out of context.

Most gods in DC despite being all powerful have trash durability feats, this is why i find this level of superman's powers a farce and base superman being that strong. It's it lacks a lot of communication of story.

At the end of the day superman’s scaling and feats don’t matter, it’s all about combat. We’ve seen superman get clapped in his strongest forms by weak opponents despite his crazy feats meanwhile Goku has been cheesing opponents far stronger and with millions of years of experience.

I think this fight is really slot closer than people think of Superman is so powerful then why does is he struggle with people he shouldn’t? His power is plot armor and it’s been stated several times in the comics. He’s supposed to win and he embodies the heroic archetype. If you place Superman out of his universe where there is no narrative plot that’s biased towards him then the vs battles you put him in become a lot closer. Now I will admit I am a dragon ball fan but I’ve also read a lot of comics to know how strong supes is from him beating the world forager,him holding a black hole in his hand, and benching the world and holding infinite pages.
