The electro eliminator looks so empty like this. I really liked how it looked with a Novarossi driver and a big fat pipe all the way to the transom. Good times.

Really enjoy your videos. Boy, electric RC has really changed since I dabbled with some hydros. Speeds are incredible. That gentleman, I believe you said his name is Don Mock.( the Miller boat). Not sure if that Atlas Van Lines crew shirt is an original or if he had it made. Man, I’ve been looking to have one made with no success for years. Even if I found a vintage, size would be the next problem. 😂 Thanks for your vids!

Mock. Don is good friends with Chip Hanauer and has worked on many full size unlimiteds, including the Atlas. In recent years he has led the crews in restoring many of the old classic unlimiteds. "Back in the day" he proved (or disproved!) many different theories and ideas using model boats, and much of Don's work ended up in modern hydroplane designs. In other words, Legend!

@@M5PerfHydros Thanks for the response! That explains a lot. With the shirt and that hat at first I thought it might be Wil Muncey Jr. whom I met and got his autograph. Still chasing that ever elusive genuine Bill Muncey autograph to help complete a framed large piece including an actual piece of the decking from the Atlas Van Lines I have. Truly impressed to hear what Don Mock (thanks for the correction) has all been a part of. Quite impressive to say the least! Legend is right. Thanks again.

Awesome video!!! Thanks for taking the time to do a tour of the pits!!! The U-25 pay n pack is a beautiful boat and paint job!!! Your white blue a yellow boat what hull is that? And I did watch the video to the end!! I would like to see video on the some of the boat builders you race? When are we going to see a video of you racing?

Thanks again Rick! Yeah that Pak is gorgeous and FAST! My Gasser is a little known configuration. The real boat was the dark blue Stroh Light that was fitted with wings the next season and repainted in the white/blue/yellow. At one race it ran as the Infinity Car Audio, which is the version you see here. I've always liked the odd boats, and this is definitely one of those!

Simply an oval course. Different lengths and widths depending upon who is setting the buoys. Some courses are great, and some not so much!

Hello, I would like to ask you a question: I acquired a marine .21 race engine recently, and was thinking about building a scale hydro for it. What I don't know is what scale is typically used for a .21 engine. A 1/10th (about 35" x 16") seems a bit big for a .21. Should I go with a 1/12th (about 29"x 14")? Or even smaller? Thanks in advance.

With these types of boats is nitro or electric faster?

We have restrictions on the electric boats which make them roughly the same speed as the nitros. If unrestricted the electric boats are almost unlimited in capability, which we quickly discovered is a bad thing.... Such small and light boats are very difficult to control at higher speeds
