Interest rate renewal for US mortgages can cause regional bank stress and possible foreclosures. After commercial real estate collapse, rates cut for reinvestment and future growth in real estate. This will hopefully help stop the US dollar appreciation and give Gold a leg up.

Worst commodity set up ever 2024 with Russia still getting annihilated deep inside Ukraine and Chinese Yuan still selling off. Still a remarkable run for both silver and gold so understandable some would suddenly start going crazy for building up US Dollar reserves as the interest rate differential alone between USA and all others is quite remarkable. Canada and Europe suddenly cutting rates could add to a "dollar panic" as well. Long $unp Union Pacific Railroad strong buy

USA dollars is strong because of the high fed rate. The fed didn't want to change the rate to not be accused of manipulating the election in November, and that is the best thing for the value of the USA dollars! In Canada, they lowered the interest rate, and it the worst thing they have done because inflation will going high, the real estate bubbles will not burst, the currency will start to fall and investors will run to the us markets!
